Chapter 6 - Ice Girl

~~~~{Charley's POV}~~~~

I wake up and Shawn is no where to be seen, his guitar has gone; but he has left me a Get Well Card saying: I hope you feel better soon Charley, sorry for not saying bye to you but, you looked so peaceful and I didnt want to wake you. Hope you like the flowers, Ice Girl. (Thants a pun for my Nice Girl, except you like Ice skating ... yeah I should shut up now. Because you probably already got the pun) See you later! x P.s I wil never call you my Ice Girl again that was a bad decision, it sounded way better in my head!

Gosh how long can Shawn ramble on about a pun for.  I guess that is apart of the reason I  like him so much. There is a note on the side table saying that I need to get changed before 10:00am. Its 9:17am now so I get on the freshly washed clothes my mum had dropped off last night. I spray on a tonne of deoderant because I wasnt allowed water to touch my stitches until they get taken off in two days. I go on my phone and decide not to call Shawn or Aaliyah because they will be in school. Now I thnk about it I have never actually seen Shawn have school reports laying around or even talk about the social aspect of school, which most teenagers would talk about, only maths and science (the two subjects he hates) when he needs help with homework.

The Doctor and my mum come into the room and inform me that I can go home as long as I dont get water on the stitches.

By the time we get home it is 3:30; Aaliyah and Shawn are in my front room watching TV. As soon as they hear us Aaliyah come up to me and gives me a huge hug.

"My brothers an idiot!" She wispers in my ear.

"I know." I whisper back.

We both start laughing

"Hey, what you guys laughing at?" He asks accusingly.

"You!" We both answer in unison.

"Whatever" he says walking towards my bedroom.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" I ask jokingly.

"To your room, is there a problem?" he asks knowing that I was joking but plays along.

"Of course there is,  Mendes! Only females are allowed in there unless a male such as yourself is a gentleman and asks politely!"

" So that is the law of the land! I'll wait here then until I feel ready to be polite enough to gain access"

"Good plan, Batman!" Aaliyah and I walk into my room and close the door we wait for a knock. However Shawn doesnt knock, we become inpatient and turn on Harry Potter (with no intention of actually watching it) knowing that he will come in then.

10 seconds of Harry Potter pass then they is a knock at the door. We quickly turn off Harry Potter and answer the door. Greeted with Shawn's perfect smile.

"Hello, please can I enter your fabulous girl cove?" He says politely.  Me and Aaliyah turn our backs to him and fake whisper. After around 20 seconds we turn back around and allow him to enter. Once he relalises that we had turned Harry Potter off, Shawn starts to give me a sad puppy dog look.

"Don't give me that look, Mendes. You're the one who wanted to come in here." I say jokingly.

"Shutup, Berry!" He says knowing that it would annoy me (because calling people  by their last names is my thing).

"Hey, don't call me Berry thats my thing." I say acting offended/hurt.

"Sorry, Berry!" Shawn  laughs.  I push him with enough force to make him have to fall back - which was quite difficult seen as Shawn is a tall guy with some muscle, making him sturdy. "Ow!"

"Okay, because that hurt you!" I say sarcastically.

"Yes, of course it did I mean look at all those muscles you have" He says squeezing my weak arm, this just makes Aaliyah and I start laughing. Eventually Shawn does too.

We all sit on my bed, with me in the middle of Shawn and Aaliyah.
"So what shall we do for the rest of the day?" Aaliyah asks to nobody in particular.

"What about ..." Shawn says but being interrupted by sombody knocking at the door.

"Come in!" I shout knowing that it will be mum.

"Just came by to see how your cheek is, and to see if you want me to get anything from the shop for you, such as ice cream, cake, chocolate, apples." Mum asks standing in the door way.

"My cheek is doing fine" I say seen as I already rang mum up yesturday to tell her. "Do you mind getting us some chocolate chip muffins?"

"Not at all, honey" She replys and walks out closing the door behind her.

DING, DING!!! Aaliyahs phone rang.

" Hello Jake" she says talking to her boyfriend. Aaliyah gets up and walks into the bathroom for some peace.

"What were you going to say?" I ask Shawn.

"Erm ... I can't remember!" He says confused.

"Well we could always play some music, you have your guitar I have my ukulele." I suggest hoping that he agrees. I love singing with Shawn because it is the only time I do sing seen I never sang in front of my parents.

"My guitar is actually at home but, we could go to my house and sing!"

"Okay, sounds like a plan.  But what about Aaliyah?" I ask.

"Erm ..." the bathroom door flings open and Aailyah comes out to inform us that she is going on a date with Jake.

Once we arrive at Shawns house we head straight upstairs, eating the muffins that my Mum had bought us.

Shawn starts to play his keyboard and I play the ukulele, we quickly decide on singing 'History' by one dirction.

"I have a YouTube channel do you mind if we make a video singing History?" Shawn asks hopefully.

"Erm .." I say trying to make time for myself to think, "why not?" I add on agreeing to do the cover.

Shawn sets up the camera and then picks up a box light placing it to the right of the camera. Wow his muscles look good picking up heavy objects.

" Let's start" he says snapping me out of my day dream. Shawn starts his intro off introducing me as his friend, even though I wish that we could be more than friends *wink* *wink*!
