She Was Pregnant?

This chapter takes place after 7x10 except Aria was shot instead of Spencer, and it was in the stomach instead of the chest. Enjoy!

Spencer's POV
It's been at least two hours and we were still waiting for any news on Aria. We haven't heard anything since the doctor came back to say she was in surgery.

" I can't believe this happened." Emily said still pacing back and forth. Alison stood up and grabbed her hand, trying to get her to relax.

"look Em, Aria's going to be fine. Any minute the doctors going to walk out saying she's fine." Alison said, although I wasn't sure if she was trying to assure Emily or herself.

I still sat there quietly, staring at the floor playing with my hands not sure what to think, or say.
"You okay Spence? You haven't said anything lately, and your in the same position you were an hour ago." Hanna asked me, coming back from the cafeteria.

"What do you want me to say? Because I don't know what to say! My best friend was just shot!" I snapped at Hanna.

Hanna threw her hands up in defense.
"Okay, just asking. But she's our best friend too." She said sitting back down.

"I know, and I'm sorry." I said, finally lifting my head up for the first time since we got here."We're just really close, is all." I mumbled the last part.

"For Aria Montgomery!" The Doctor called walking into the waiting room.

I shot up from my seat and walked over to the doctor. Emily, Alison, and Hanna following close behind me.
"How is she?" I asked immediately without a second thought.
"Are you family?" The doctor asked looking at all of us.
"No, we're her best friends. But please tell us how she is!" I answered.
"Is there any one else here for her?" The doctor asked glancing around at the nearly empty waiting room.
"No, her fiancée is on his way though." Alison answered before I got a chance.
The doctor nodded and looked back down at his clipboard.
"I'm not supposed to give information to people who aren't fam..." The Doctor started but I interrupted him.
"Please, just tell us how our friend is!" I shouted at the Doctor, and a couple people looked up to see what was going on.

" I was going to say I could make an acceptation, since you all seem so close." The Doctor explained.

The doctor had a smile on his face, making you think that it would be good news that he told us. Which made me smile at the thought that my best friend is okay.

"Do you want good news or bad news first?" The doctor asked his smile dropping slightly.

My smile dropped too. There was bad news.
"Um.." I started but couldn't form any words.
"I think we could all use some good news." Alison said.
"Well the good news is that she made it out of surgery without any complications, and she's in recovery." The doctor said, with a smile.

"I don't understand, what's the bad news then?" Emily asked.
"Your friend is fine, but the baby didn't make it." The doctor said his smile dropping as he said the last part.

Our mouths dropped open in shock, Aria was pregnant.

"Wait she was pregnant?" Emily asked wanting to be sure, all of us were still in shock.

The doctor nodded.
"Wait you didn't know? I'm sorry I assumed you knew. Now if you excuse me I have patients to check on." He said before walking away.

"Aria was pregnant." I said not believing what I just heard.

My first thought was to be angry because my best friend didn't tell me something this big. But I pushed that thought out of my head, I felt bad for Aria more than I was mad.
