This story takes place after 7x08. When Ezra leaves to go see if Nicole is really alive Aria finds out she's pregnant. When Aria gets shot instead of Spencer what will happen? How will Ezra deal with the news when he gets home, and what will happen...
Ezra's POV I have been planning a surprise for Aria. After everything that's happened I figured she could use a night out, and just a break. That is if I can get her out of bed. "Get ready, I'm taking you somewhere later." I said standing in the doorway of our bedroom.
Aria was curled up in our bed watching movies. Today was the first day she's actually done something and talked. Usually she just laid there staring blankly at the wall. I also got her to eat something. So I was hoping she was slowly making her way back to her normal self.
Aria looked at me suspiciously, raising one eyebrow. "Where are you taking me?" "It's a surprise." I told her.
She rolled her eyes but smiled. "Tell me where we're going." She pleaded. "Well I can't do that. Otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise, and what's the fun in that." I smiled. "I can't get ready if I don't know where we're going." She stated, trying to get me to budge.
I walked over to our closet pulling out one of Aria's white dresses. "Here wear this!" I yelled throwing the dress at her. "So now you're picking out my clothes for me too?" She asked smiling.
I nodded. "Be ready in an hour." I said. "Ezra Fitz! You know I hate surprises!" I heard her yell as I walked out of the room.
I just smiled to myself. I did know that, but that doesn't mean I don't like surprising her.
Aria's POV "Aria, come on!" I heard Ezra yell. "Just a second!" I yelled back putting on my last touch of makeup. "We're already running behind schedule!" "I'm coming." I said, walking down the stairs. Where Ezra was waiting dressed in a tux, and holding flowers in his hand. "You look, wow!" He said. I chuckled, and smiled. He always knew how to make me smile. "You don't look to bad yourself, Fitz." I told him smiling. "For you my lady." He said handing me the flowers. "Why thank you sir." I laughed. He was so cheesy. But that's one of the things I loved most about him. Ezra took my hand in his, before leading us to his car. Where he opened the door for me.
"Well, you're romantic today." I said. "Only for you." he smiled. "But seriously, can you tell me where we're going now?" I asked. "You'll see soon enough." "Ezra! Haven't I waited long enough?" "Soon, I promise." He said, leaning over to kiss me.
"And here we are." He said opening my door, and gesturing with his hand. "The park? You're taking me on a date to the park?" I asked in disbelief.
He laughed and shook his head. "That's not the whole surprise." "Now come on, this way." He said grabbing my hand and leaving me through the park.
"Okay now close your eyes." He instructed, when he suddenly stopped walking. "Ezra seriously?" I asked. "Yes, just trust me. I've got you." Ezra promised pressing a reassuring kiss to my forehead. I gave in and closed my eyes. Letting him have full control of where I was walking.
Ezra stopped in his tracks, Came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "1..2...3... open." He said excitedly. I opened my eyes to reveal a picnic set up in front of me. Under one of the trees, was a picnic blanket with candles all around it, and the picnic blanket was covered with scattered rose petals.
I turned around to face him. My mouth open in aww. "You did all this?" I asked, with tears in my eyes. He was seriously too sweet. "Well I had some help, but it was my idea." He stated proudly. "You're a hopeless romantic." I told him. "But im your hopeless romantic." Ezra smiled at me. "That you are." I said standing on my tippy toes to kiss him. "Let's eat." Ezra said. "Should I be scared? Did you cook the food?" I teased. "I ordered Chinese takeout." He laughed. "Am I really that bad of a cook?" "Yes you are, but I love you anyways."
Throughout dinner I kept catching Ezra staring at me. He would just look at me and smile. "What are you staring at?" I asked smiling because he was smiling. "You. Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?" He asked. I blushed. "Ezra.." I started. "No, I'm serious. You're beautiful, and I love you." "I love you too." "This is for you." Ezra said pulling a small black box out of his pocket. "Ezra, you didn't have to do this." I gasped. "I know but I wanted to. Open it." Ezra urged. I opened the box to reveal a beautiful silver locket and inside was a picture of us.

"Ezra it's beautiful." I said, in disbelief. "And the other side is empty to put a picture of our children some day." He said. "I love it, thank you." I said. Ezra pulled me into a tight embrace pressing multiple kisses to my head. "I love you, and I'm so glad you're doing better." Ezra said. "For the thousandth time I love you too." "I promise we will get through everything and anything, and I will stand by your side the whole time. That's a promise I never plan on breaking." Ezra said, kissing my lips.
Okay so this chapter is definitely longer than expected. But I hope it makes it even better for you guys. Who is actually still interested in this story? Because I feel like reads and votes and are just going down drastically if you compare the reads on different chapters. Of course I'd probably end up finishing this story anyways because I wouldn't be able to stand having an unfinished story.
