"What do we do now?" I restlessly ran my fingers through my hair with a helpless look on my face.

It was after school on the same day that Taehyung was taken away into custody and Yoongi oppa, YooJung and I were at a small cafe nearby trying to figure out what was happening.

"Father must've done something behind this," YooJung clenched her fists tightly with a pissed expression taking over her. "The moment I turn twenty, I'm moving out of that goddamn family,"

"I don't know why the police suddenly opened this case back up again but all I know is that there is no evidence that Taehyung did it since he's innocent," Yoongi oppa spoke up, taking a sip of his coffee. "There might be a direct way of proving his innocence right away... but I'm not sure yet,"

"Well since there's no exact proof yet, they can't keep him like that. Let's head to the police station," YooJung stood up with a determined expression. "I can't watch my cousin suffer more like this,"

"W-what do you mean there's going to be a retrial," YooJung's voice trembled as her eyes wavered slightly. "Taehyung's innocent,"

"I'm afraid the boy's fingerprints were found on the knife used for the death of Mr. Kim through another DNA testing recently," the police raised his eyebrows.

"How come this didn't come up before?" Yoongi oppa spoke up, placing both palms onto the desk in front of him, where the policeman was seated on the other side. "You know it yourself that Taehyung is innocent, there was even a fuc– witness in the scene,"

"Unless the witness comes up in the trial to prove his innocence, we cannot do anything about it," he shook his head.

There's a witness?

Seeing my cousin's hands ball up into tight fists, I gently placed my hand over one of them and calmed him down slightly. When I felt the tension in his hand die down a little, I questioned the police.

"There's a witness?"

The policeman looked up at me in disbelief. "You're trying to defend someone, and yet you don't know that there was a witness to this?"

"What–"

"We are not bringing the witness into this," Yoongi oppa cut me off quickly and pulled me behind his back, his grasp on my hand tightening. I was still befuddled and shocked at the fact that there was a witness of this event, and the fact that Yoongi oppa was aware of all this. "Just tell me who's going to be the prosecutor of this case,"

"I believe it's going to be Mr.Choi's personal prosecutor," the police officer nodded. "You're his daughter right?" He tilted his head slightly, averting his attention to YooJung.

"I wish I never was," I heard YooJung whisper under her breath with a glare towards the officer.

"And I also have been informed that Mr. Kim Taehyung doesn't have a lawyer to defend him. So I believe he's going to have to stand in court alo–"

"Oh no he's not," Yoongi oppa cut him off. Well he's been cutting a lot of sentences today. "You can tell the prosecutor that Kim Seokjin from the public defendant lawyers will be taking on his side. Well then if you'll excuse me, I believe I have no time to bicker with clueless beings like you,"

Yoongi oopa curtly turned around before grabbing onto my hand and YooJung's with his other, dragging the two of us out of the police station. From the dark aura radiating off my cousin, I knew that this wasn't the best time to ask him questions.

But I guess YooJung didn't notice it.

"Hey stop it!" She pulled herself out of my cousin's grasp. "How can you just leave the place like that? And what do you mean we're not going to bring the witness into this? We need the witness to prove that Taehyung is innocent!"
