JC's POV

Jay opened the door and she was wearing leggings with combat boots and a flannel. Her undershirt made her cleavage look really good. Her hair reached her waist  and it was nice and wavy. She smiled at the flowers i had given her. i was glad she wasn't wearing a dress or anything. She looked simple but beautiful. She hadnt noticed that i was checking her out because she was so focused on the flowers. Shit.

"Hey, uh these are for you." I said handing her the flowers. She smiled.

"Thank you. They're beautiful." She reached out to hug me and kissed my cheek. "Come in. I just have to put these in water and then we can leave." she added with a smile.

She walked over to the kitchen and i saw Diana in the living room.

"Hi JC." she said with a smile.

"Hey Diana, are you guys talking yet?" i asked a little nervous.

"Yes, we are. You can call me Dee. I don't like my name." She said smiling. i nodded and chuckled. "Oh and just so you know, she actually does wear girl clothes sometimes." She said looking over at Jay. i was confused but then i saw the skirt on the couch. Did she change for me? I mean, it's only our first date.

Jay walked out of the kitchen and put the flowers on the coffee table. i smiled and we walked out of her house.

The drive was a little quiet because of the music. "So where are we going?" Jay asked over the music. i lowered it down and looked at her.

"Well, we are going to get lunch first and everything else will come as a surprise." i answered smiling. i looked back on the road and she smiled. We pulled up to a Panera and she looked like she was relieved. i opened the door for her and she smiled. i held out my arm and she grabbed on to it.

"Have you practiced on a song that you wanted to cover?" i asked as she took a bite from her salad.

"Yes, but that's a surprise." She answered smiling.

"You know, the boys dont know you play guitar so they are probably going to be even more amazed with you."  i said looking at her eat. She looked confused.

"You may not notice it, but you are an amazing girl. You dont boast about being a college athlete or knowing how to do specific things. You let us find out if we want to. i find that amazing." She blushed and i smiled. She thanked me and we continued eating.

We finished our food and i paid. Jay wanted to play but i didnt let her. She pouted and i just laughed.

"Where to now?" She asked as we pulled out of the parking lot. i looked over at her and smiled.

"Don't worry about it." i winked. She laughed and shook her head. She looked out the window and i wondered what crossed her mind.

"Penny for your thoughts?" i asked.

"Well, i'm just a little scared as to how all the O2L fans are going to react when i post my covers and stuff. Like the fact that i'm going to be with you guys in my first videos. They are probably going to think that i am just using you guys and stuff. i dont know, maybe i'm over thinking it." She answered giving me a half smile.

"You shouldnt be afraid to do it. You have a talent and you should share it." i answered trying to comfort her.

"I want to share it but i dont know if i'm prepared to receive all the hate that comes with the good. Like i'm sure you've gotten some hate before, it sucks. i already went through that in high school, i dont want to go through it again." she said looking down at her hands.

I reached over to give her hand a gentle squeeze. "You won't be going through it alone. All of us will help you through any hate that you receive. Trust me." She smiled and nodded. i pulled my hand back and we drove around listening to music until we pulled up to the roller rink.

She looked at me and her eyes were wide with excitement.

"Seriously?" she asked smiling.

"Yeah, have you ever been here before?" i asked hoping she would say no.

"Nope, but i've always wanted to come." She answered smiling.

We ordered our skates and she was excited. We left our shoes in a cubby and made our way over to the rest of the skaters. There wasnt many people here and i was glad.

She started to skate and she made it look effortless, i had a little trouble getting started and i had to hold on to the side. She smiled and laughed at me. She skated around a couple of times and then i finally let go. i took 2 strides and i fell and she laughed at me.

"I give up. i'll watch you from the side." i said throwing my hands in defeat. i stood up and grabbed on to the side.

"Well that's no fun. Come on." She said holding her hand out. "I'll teach you." she added.

i smiled and grabbed on to her arm. She smiled then i held her hand.

"Watch me and mimic my steps." she said pulling me to one side then to another. i started doing what she was doing and i was skating. She held on to my hand a little longer then let me go.

We skated for a while and talked. She would constantly make me laugh and i couldnt help but look at her lips everytime she talked. She would get so caught up in things and i would pay attention to everything she said and would. Our time to skate was off and we went over to change our shoes.

Jay's POV

I couldn't help but smile at JC when he wasnt looking at me. He was genuinely a nice guy. We got some frozen yogurt.

"Jay, will i be able to get a preview of you playing the guitar?" he asked as he walked back into the car.

"Well, i'm still a bit rusty so i dont think it will sound too good." i answered truthfully. He smiled and shook his head.

"Jay, i'm sure it will sound fine. I just really want to hear you play." he said with pleading eyes. Aw, he was such a cutie. How could i say no to him?

"Fine, but you have to tell me where we are going next." i answered smiling. He looked at me and thought about it for a while.

"How about i tell you after we pick up your guitar?" He asked smiling.

"Fine, i can do with that." i answered smiling.

We drove up the driveway and saw that the lights were off. Hm, maybe Diana left to hang out with Kian. I opened the door and got my guitar out of the closet. i rushed downstairs, locked the door and made my way into the car.

We drove in silence for a while.

"You're going to hate me but i'm not going to tell you where we're going." he said breaking the silence. i knew he was going to do this.

"Well, i guess you wont listen to me play then." i answered with sass.

"You'll change your mind." he said smiling.

"No i wont. You need to hold up your end of the deal." i answered back.

"Technically i am. i said i would tell you after we picked up your guitar but i didnt say i'd tell you right away." Ugh, he was a smart ass too. i rolled my eyes.

"You're lucky you're cute." i said to myself almost barely audible. i glanced over to JC to see if he had noticed but he didnt. instead of engaging into another conversation i leaned over and highered the volume on his radio. i saw him raise his eyebrow and i looked out the window.

I noticed that we were going up a narrow road.

"Is this where you kill me?" i asked jokingly.

He laughed and smiled, "No this is where you play the guitar fo me." i rolled my eyes.

"What makes you so sure?" i challenged.

He smiled, "I just know these things."

"Whatever." i answered and rolled my eyes. It's true though, i was still going to play for him.

We pulled up to a cliff and you were able to see all over the city and it was beautiful.
