Columbus Ohio present time.
Pov: Harmony Bayley
I woke up around eight thirty in in the morning and looked around my mostly empty bedroom awaiting the biggest move of my life. My mom got a promotion and we were moving to Los Angeles California, what kind of famous writer gets promoted and has to move? I could hear my brothers in the next room arguing, I got up and looked out my window to see the moving truck parked in my driveway. 'Today's the day' I told myself.

I walked away from the window and put on a baggy baby blue crop top on and some black sweatpants. My bathroom was empty except for my shower things and my toothbrush, I looked in the mirror and put my long, brown hair into a messy bun and I left my bedroom.

I peered into my twin brothers room. "I have to drive the truck why can't you drive my car?" Derek yelled holding out his car keys.

"No! I want to drive my car why can't you pull your car behind you?" Brandon yelled.

I barged into the room. Brandon's room was completely empty except for the suitcase for the hotels he must have been awake for a few hours. "Hey dumbasses, the moving men are driving the truck."

They looked at each other and Derek jerked his keys away from Brandon's reach. They were almost the exact same height and had the same dark brown hair as me. "I knew that I was testing Brandon's IQ, he failed."

My mom came into the room out of breath and she had bags under her eyes. "Oh, Harmony you're awake!" She looked down the hall and yelled. "Go ahead and take the bed in the second bedroom!" She was stressed and obviously hadn't had her coffee. My mom had the most beautiful long light brown hair and her eyes were bright green just like Derek's.

"Mom!" I stopped her from leaving. "Stop stressing, everything will be fine." I gave her a long hug. "Go get some coffee I'll take over here."

She smiled with her beautiful plump lips and nodded. "Okay, but I'll be right back! I love you guys."

After a few hours, the house was completely empty and it was time to go. "Stay together!" My mom said getting into her SUV.

"Why couldn't we fly?" Brandon gave me a look that said 'I Hate life'.

I shook my head and smiled getting into my black Porsche.

That day I left my childhood, my friends and the only thing I had ever known behind to start a new life.

Three and a half days later Los Angeles California.

Our new house was sixteen hundred square feet bigger than the old one, it had six eight-foot pillars on the front of the house and had fifty acres of land. There were four garages and each car occupied one, the backyard had a big pool with a rock waterfall.

My bedroom had a balcony and an upper level for my bed; the bathroom had a big jetted tub and a stand-up shower with three shower heads. My closet was big enough to be a bedroom and had built in shelves on two of the four walls.

Brandon's room was almost the exact same as mine except there was no balcony. Derek's room was perfect for his love for drums. It was in the basement which was practically a second house, it even had a kitchen. As for my mom, she had the biggest bedroom with a hot tub on the balcony and a closet even bigger than my own.

Before unpacking my room I looked around at the bare walls, I sat down on the floor and stared at the boring bedroom. Cardboard boxes were stacked on the walls and my bed was up on the step up exactly where I wanted it. It was only about two o'clock in the afternoon and my mom was already getting ready to go to the high school to enroll us. I might as well paint and decorate while I had the time.
