Saved from a broken home

SOMETHING NEW

We pull up to a little grey house and I start to freak out. Luke notices and talks to me. Trying to soothe my thoughts he says "Bailey your fine, they might not even be here. Breath." As soon as I'm calmed down we get out. I grab my bag and walk up the steps.

The porch is surrounded by fine gardening and perfect round bushes. The grass is green and the yard looks perfect for playing soccer.

"Wait till you see the backyard!" I guess he saw my face, amazed at how beautiful it is.

We walk further up the stairs and he opens the door. I'm greeted by a cute little living space. The colours go perfect with the way the sun shoots through the windows. The house smells of pizza and vanilla. I love that smell.

He guides me up the stairs and to the back of the first hallway. "The back room is yours and that hallway holds the bathroom and extra closets." He says pointing to the left.

At the top of the stairs towards the left is a loft type thing. I can just see it now. Me chilling out and reading a novel. Cozy.

Since I was in a daydream I didn't see him walk to my door. He whistled at me and I turned and walked to him.

Luke let's me open the door and I'm shook. It's perfect. The walls are a lavender colour and the bed is white. There are fairy lights around the room and a flat screen mounted on the wall. Under the TV is a tall dresser thats white with diamond like nobs. I can't fathom how beautiful and girly it looks. Am I really on the verge of tears?

"Hey don't cry. Why are you crying? Do you not like it?" He questions. "Tears of joy. I'm sorry it's so beautiful and I've never had something like this." I explain and he hugs me. I flinch but then melt in his arms. He's warm.

"No need to say sorry you are very welcome anything for my princess." I walk in and set my bag at the foot of my bed. I didn't notice before but I have two side tables that are Marble and gold. I love it. Then on the right table there is a laptop. I freak and run to him hugging him.

"Why would you get me a computer? Why would you get me any of this? I don't deserve this." He looks confused and then he says "you do deserve it love, we care about you and we want the best for you." We hug once again then he leads me to the back deck.

"This is the back yard and we have a pool you can use any time, a basketball goal, and sometimes we have little get togethers so be prepared to meet people, also we work on songs out here. You're welcome to every inch of the land we have and the house. So don't think you can't have something." He explains stuff to me about the 3 other boys and how I'm welcome to anything.

As soon as he's done I go back to my room and unpack my things. "Need any help?" Luke asks and I welcome him in. When we are done he suggested that we go shopping tomorrow for an actual wardrobe. "How can you live with only four outfits? We're going shopping tomorrow." Ok it wasn't a suggestion, it was a command. "Dude no way don't spend anymore money on me I have an amazing room and not to mention the 1000 dollar computer over there. Thanks but no thanks." Why does he think he needs to spend that much money on me? It's crazy.

"Sorry but too bad. Be up by 11 love you!" He yells as he walks off. I grown and put my bag under my bed.

After I was done with everything I chilled by the pool and read a book.

I would say I read for an hour before I heard the front door slam and people hollering. Curious about the ruckus I marked my place and went in the kitchen.  When I'm about to enter the room I hear my name. "Where is she?" Some one asks. "She is outside by the pool reading. Don't bother her or she'll-"

"She'll what?" I bounce in the room. "O-oh nothing I was just telling them that your home and stuff." He stutters. I giggle and  join the circle. Everybody's looking at me and I feel uneasy. "Well I feel awkward. Hi." I mutter. A few seconds later I'm greeted my the 3 tall boys and in a group hug.

"Can't-breath-Luke" I gasp. The dirty blond curls giggles, GIGGLES and says "guys eat off it's her first day."

After we visit and be awkward it's about 7 and we eat spaghetti. I guess Ashton's mum made it. It was delicious. After that I go take a shower and reflect on my day.

I sigh and go deep in thought. How did I end up here? In this amazing house, surrounded by people that I think cares about me. I'm at peace. I'm pulled out of my thoughts by a knock at the door. "Hey you! Better hurry up we have a full day ahead of us tomorrow!" I grown. And whoever it was laughed and walked away. I shaved, washed my hair and got out.

Actually I am a bit tired. Today was a big day. I French braid my hair and play on my laptop for a few minutes. I log on to my gmail and get everything set up.

I see that it is now 9 something and I decide that I've watched enough YouTube for now. When I put everything away and turn out my lights there are various knocks at the door.

"Goodnight love you!" They all say.I giggle. "Goodnight!"
