Almost three weeks after the incident Philip had woken up. He was weak and could barely move, no matter how much medicine they pumped into him.
Despite coming out of his coma he was still and critical condition. The doctors were still unsure if he was going to make it.
By that point Lukas was at his side 24/7. He didn't care if his dad knew, he didn't care if Helen and Gabe knew, he didn't care he knew. He just knew he needed to be with Philip as much as he could.
"If you die I'll kill you," Lukas says quietly through tears.
Philips eyes flicker to the blonds face and the corners of his lips turn up slightly. "I'll be fine," he says in a scratchy voice, attempting to lift his hand to touch Lukas' cheek.
The taller of the pair takes the sick boy's wrist and presses his palm to his cheek. Philip runs his thumb over Lukas' skin slowly and closes his eyes.
Lukas holds back tears, leaning into Philips touch so he didn't have to keep his arm held up too high. He leans in after a moment and lightly presses his lips to Philips cheek.
