Three days and many tears later, Philip came home. He was tired and week, basically collapsing in Lukas' arms when he walked through the door. He didn't seem hurt, just exhausted.
He fell asleep quickly in his boyfriends arms, not saying a word and ignoring every question that was asked. All Philip wanted to do was sleep, and so he did. He knew he would receive hell when he woke up, but at that time he didn't care.

"Why would you do that to us? Again? After you almost died?" Lukas chokes out.
"I had to see my mom. I'm sorry," Philip answers.
"Promise me you'll never leave like that again?"
"Promise."
"Promise you'll never leave me again?"
"I promise."
