Listen to this song, it's I'd come for you - Nickleback don't you see it's fitting? ->

Just one more moment

That’s all that’s needed

Like wounded soldiers

In need of feeling

Time to be honest

This time I’m pleading

Please don’t dwell on it

‘Cause I didn’t mean it

I grunted at the song sweeping through my room, I didn’t want to get up yet. I was still feeling too tired to actually even consider getting up. I was just about to turn around and hide under a pillow when something smooth on top of me made my head clear a bit.

I actually cracked an eye open to see a mess of silvery hair on top of my chest, making me smile despite my foul morning mood. I carefully lifted my hand to brush the hair away from Ayden’s face and differently from the last times I saw him sleeping he in fact looked peaceful now, making him look even younger than he already was.

Well, at least until the song continued to blare through my bedroom, which I now recognized as I’d come for you – Nickelback. For a second I looked around, searching for my phone when the silvery heap on my chest gave a tingling little moan, wrinkling it’s nose in the most adorable way in the process.

I can’t believe I said

I’d lay my love on the ground

But it doesn’t matter

‘Cause I made it up

Forgive me now

Every day I spent away

My soul’s inside out

Gotta be someway

That I can make it up

To you now somehow

I quickly petted my pockets and looked on the nightstand but still wasn’t able to find my damn loud phone. Just where did I put it last night? Was it still in my school bag? But that couldn’t be, I remembered how I had wanted to let Ayden call Brandon so he could make sure Sinister was alright and I’m pretty sure I put it in my pant’s pocket afterwards.

Just as I was about to reach for my pants that had somehow ended up on the floor last night I felt a gust of cold air rush to the place Ayden’s head had been resting just seconds ago. Lowly cursing I turned my intention to him and saw him blinking up at me owlishly before snuggling his face back in the comfortable safety of my neck. “Mhhmm, you listen to that song, too?” He murmured tiredly against my skin, making shudders run down my spine.

By now you know that

I’d come for you

No one but you

Yes, I’d come for you

But only if you told me too

“I do.” I murmured just as I finally grabbed the leg of my pants and snapped the phone open to reveal an unknown number. Who could call me at such a time despite Brandon? And who would even call whose number I didn’t have, this one didn’t even look familiar.
