Chapter 10:My date with Julia

Takumi's POV

I left Kyu's house and made my way to Julia's house. I was going to take her to a somewhat of a fancy restaurant. I was so scared. After a while I arrived at Julia's house. I parked right in front of her house, then I texted her to tell her that I'm here. A few minutes later she opened her door, and walked to my car. I got out of to go open the door for her. I opened the door and she awkwardly laughed and got in the car, and I walked back to the drivers side and got in the car too, then I drove off. She was wearing a blue dress that end right above her knee. She didn't have her glasses on, which I was sad about because I liked them, and she had her hair curly.

"So where are you taking me"

"Oh, a somewhat fancy restaurant me and my sister go there when we wanna feel fancy but no go bankrupt"

She laughed.

On the ride to the restaurant she talked about her dogs and random stuff.

We arrived at the restaurant and I got out of the car to open the door for her. I opened the door, she got out of the car and we walked into the restaurant. We had to wait for someone to seat us at a table. A really nice waiter lead us to our table.

"Here are your menus I will be right back"

"Thanks," I said.

"So what are getting,"she asked.

" Well I usually get the 3 cheese pasta"

"Then so will I"

The waiter arrived back at our table.  

"So what would you like"

We'll both have the 3 cheese pasta"

"Any drinks"

"I'll have a water"

"How bout you Miss"

"Red wine"

"Okay, I'll be right back with your drinks,"the waiter said as they left."So tell me bout yourself,"She said."Well I'm 26, I'm from Canada but I was born in Vietnam, we moved to Canada when my sister was still in my mom's stomach,"I said. "Really why did you guys move to Canada?"she asked."Well after I was born my father though moving to Canada would give me a better chance at some thing bigger, plus he already had a home there so we packed up and moved,"I said."Okay enough with questioning me how about you,"I said."Well I'm 24, I moved from NYC to LA a year ago to pursue film and acting but that didn't work, um.... I'm a only child, I come from a very musical background, my mom and dad both played piano they used to preform all around the world until I was born,"she said."Whoa that's cool, why didn't you pursue music,"I asked."I don't know I can play piano, maybe because I didn't want to be like my parents I wanted to do some thing different,"she said. I grabbed her hand, looked into her eyes and said,"I completely understand,"I said."Here are your drinks,"The waiter said."I'll be right back with your food,"They said. The second Julia got her wine she chugged it."Jay you okay?"I asked."Yeah I'm fine,"she said.

The waiter came right back with our food. Jay grabbed her fork and cautiously took a bite. "Oh my god this is delicious,"she said."Of course why do you think I get it every time I come here," I said. A while later both of us were done with our food, the waiter came back to take our plates and said that they'll be back with the check. The waiter came back with the check and Julia started to reach for her purse. Yep she's a keeper. "No Jay I got it,"I said. "Okay how bout we just split it evenly,"she said."Okay,"I said. I payed half and she payed half. We left the restaurant and it was really cold, well for LA. I saw that Julia was cold so I gave her my jacket."Thanks,"she said. "You're welcome,"I said. We both got into the car and I drove off."Thank you for everything,"She said."No need to thank me thank you for allowing me to go on a date with a beautiful woman like yourself,"I said. Her face was as red a tomato. A few minutes later we arrived at her house. "Well this is my stop, see ya," she said as she kissed me on my cheek.

"Oh, your jacket"

"No keep it, it looks good on you also it gives me an excuse to come back"

"Okay see ya,"She said as she got out of the car and walked to her house.

I drove back to Kyu's house, parked the car and walked into her house. I opened the door to see Kyu in a wheelie chair, she slowly turned around and said,"Mr.Masaki I've been waiting for you,"she said."How long have you been siting there,"I said. "Too long, but let's not dawn on that so how was your date with Julia,"She said."It went great, she's amazing,"I said."So when will I get to meet her,"she said."Soon okay,"I said."Okay,"She said."Well I'm going to bed, night,""Night," She said. I walked up stairs to my room and fell face first on to my bed.
