The two girls stood in silence with Scalinea's back to Dasha. Scalinea closed her eyes and hoped it was just her imagination playing tricks on her only to realize that a monster was creeping up behind Dasha.
Scalinea teleported behind Dasha in a gust of dark red dust and sparkles. Scalinea killed the monsters with two, long, deep, slashes along it's body. Dasha stood wide eyed at the protection she had gotten from her unstable friend.
Scalinea's eyes changed from white to her regular turquoise color but darker, showing her true looks in the form indicating she had finally gained control of the form at last. Scalinea relaxed now without the worry of accidentally hurting her friend.
"How did you do that? That must have been a very high level monster by the looks of it!" Dasha said still amazed.
Scalinea turned around from looking at the now dead monster and faced Dasha looking at the small girl with her penetrating eyes. "What are you doing so far out into the forest?! If I wasn't here you would have been killed! The monster was a level 1,258 any you wouldn't ever be able to survive it with your level 9 magic!"
"So that's what level I am... Wait... How do you know that?" Dasha asked.
"My magic kinda tells me these things... But answer me, why are you this deep in the forest?" Scalinea asked Dasha, worrying about the small girl.
"Well... I saw you run out of the dorms so I followed you..."
"Oh..." Scalinea replied. 'I should be able to sense someone from a mile away... AHUG! I should have been paying closer attention!' Scalinea thought to herself.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, my magic just seems to be getting to me." Scalinea laughed. She then sensed someone else coming close. She snatched Dasha's hand and leaped into the nearest tree dragging Dasha with her.
"What are you doin-"
"Shh..." Scalinea said covering Dasha's mouth.
Dasha than noticed that Scalinea wasn't holding her trident and that it was nowhere in sight. "Wait... Where did your trident go?" Dasha asked in a whisper.
"I teleported it away so we could hide easier." Scalinea whispered keeping a very close watch on down below.
A male walked into the clearing with mahogany hair and Scalinea was able to scan him with ease. "Carson Legend, age 25, power level 560." Scalinea said looking at the Male.
