Chapter 29 : Hurt
Anong oras na wala pa rin si Keitthe. Where the heck is he? Kanina pang seven sarado ang school noh. I know ang OA ko dahil ten o'clock palang naman pero kahit na, malay mo ano ng nangyari dun kahit lalaki siya. Baka nang-rape yun eh.
Dahil alalang-alala na ako I decided to call him.
"Hello Keitthe?"
"Sam?" It wasn't him but I exactly know who it is.
"Ah Sa-Samuel, Hi. Do you know where Keitthe is." I gulped. What am I feeling now? It's kind of weird.
"Oh Keitthe? He's currently in my room I'll go call him." I heard her call his name on the other line and the way they both giggled.
Is it wrong to think they're flirting? Well, are they? Pero bakit parang ang awkward ng feeling ko? Para akong nasasaktan. Parang.
"Hey Minnie."
"Keitthe anong ginagawa mo? Sorry if I bothered you pero anong oras na and hindi ka pa umuuwi, you should've called me earlier para hindi na ako nagalala." I covered my mouth. Shit what did I just say? Baka iba ang pagkaka-interpret niya nung sinabi ko.
"Nag-aalala ka?" I can sense that he's smiling on the other line. Smirking rather.
"O-oo syempre fiancé kita and kawawa yung business ng mom ko pag hindi natuloy yung marriage natin that's why I'm worrying."
"Shh.. no need for excuses Minnie I know that you just miss me. Don't worry uuwi na ako once I finish whatever I'm doing with Samuel now." Nanlaki ang mata ko.
Are they doing "the thing"?? Yung anuhan. Yung ginagawa ng mag-asawa?
"A-anong gi-gina.. ginagawa ninyo?" Bakit ako nauutal?
"No it's not what you think Minnie." He chuckled. "You're so cute when you misinterpret. It's just something okay? It's not what you think it is."
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. I thought they were doing it, I almost cracked.
"I'll hang up now Minnie. Bye."
"Bye."
I really have no idea about what's happening.
I went to our room and wala akong magawa o makausap. Wala si Nanay Berna ngayon kasi gabi na.
Because I was bored, I thought of sleeping pero biglang tumawag si Ghene.
"Yes Ghene?"
"Yow Sam pupuntahan kita diyan. Samahan mo 'ko sa practice ko sa drag race."
"Huh?"
"Magbihis ka na. Bye!! Mwa!" Binaba niya bigla yung phone.
I started to think about it and I decided to go dahil wala rin naman akong magawa and twelve pa ang pasok namin bukas dahil sa BOTB. So nagbihis na ako and inayos yung dadalhin ko.
Kinuha ko wallet ko and I applied some bb-cream on my face nag lagay din ako ng lip balm na medyo may color para mabuhayan naman yung mukha ko.
I waited for Ghene outside. There was a car parked that I really like though.
Oh. My. Gosh.
Ang ganda nung kotse na dala niya.
"Sam meet my Porsche Cayman."
"Wow. How much?"
"Almost one and a half million pesos lang naman." Tumawa siya bigla.
"Lang ha. Regalo sayo?"
