CHAPTER 8 : That Kiss
What happened yesterday at school was completely tiring even right now dahil ang aga kong magising para matapos lang yung assignment namin.
Yup. First week palang may assignment na! Tsk!
I finished at exactly 6:03 am kaya nagmadali na akong maligo at mag prepare. Buti nga at maaga kaming nakarating sa school.
"Okay for today class the school assigned a brand new activity. This is a socialization activity for the first year and second year students from the different departments. This will bring you new friends and will also deepen your trust to others. Ginagawa ito ng school para maging welcome party kumbaga sa mga college freshmen at para naman sa mga ate at kuya niyo sa second year na maranasan din 'to."
So Socialization/Trust activity ang gagawin namin?
Nakaka excite!
"Now put on your the blindfolds distributed to you earlier. Miss Maria Gheneva and Miss Samantha please guide your blockmates to put on their blindfolds. I will be the one to put on yours."
Tinulungan na namin yung mga blockmates namin and after nun si Miss Alihan (our adviser) ang naglagay nung samin.
She guided us to fall in line at dahan dahang bumaba. Nasa Gym na ata kami eh.
"The activity that we will be doing is a Trust activity. Dahil naka blindfolds kayo at walang makita we will group you into different clusters.Sa isang cluster, may isang nakakakita at siya ang mag ga-guide sainyo siya ang team leader. The team leader holds a map."
"May mga rooms kayong pupuntahan at hahanapan ng isang specific na bagay. It's a round ball na dapat niyong hanapin. Paunahan ang paghahanap nito. There's a time limit in staying in a room. After five minutes you should go out. Ang maiiwan sa room when the 5 minutes is exactly up ay kukunin ng personnel. And each members holds atleast one ball na makukuha."
"The catch is dapat di kayo mawalan ng members dahil may mga school personnel na magiikot at mangunguha ng students sa labas ng rooms from a cluster. At ang may pinaka konting members matitira at pinaka konting bola ang talo. And the losers will be given a consequence."
"Miss ano pong mangyayari sa makukuha ng personnels?" tanong ng isang lalaking di ko kilala at di makita.
"Good question. Ang makukuha ay pwedeng pag agawan ng mga team leader basta kailangan lang na madami ang members na matitira sainyo."
"Eh ano naman po ang consequence?"
"That's a surprise" narinig kong tumawa siya ng konti. Grabe naman si Mrs. Robles (our dean) may pagka kaloka din kasi to eh.
Team Z ako wahh!! I'm not sure about this. Nagsimula na silang paghiwalayin kami. Kinakabahan ako. May kumapit sa balikat ko.
"Hi!" sabi ng nasa likod ko na nakakapit rin dito.
"Hi!"
"A-anong pangalan mo?" tanong niya
"I'm Samantha Manriquez you are?"
"Ahh I'm An--" naputol yung sinabi niya
"Reminder. No telling of names until the activity is over." natawa ako.
"Just forget who I am" I told her.
Natawa lang siya. Ako din natawa.
"Hey I'm your team leader. Wag kayong magpapakuha or else I'll kill whoever you are. Okay?" grabeng team leader naman to ang yabang. Wala man lang words of encouragement?
