Not long ago I got asked by one of my friend is school this question and I thought this might help you ;)
I have a big test which I have next week and I have to memorise and learn some stuff but it's really hard for me? Any memorising tips and tricks??
Oooooo okay let me break this down for you so it's easier.

Get organised
This is soooooo important! I know it might seem like it's isn't but trust me it is! If there's one enemy of a good memory, it's confusion and disorganisation. A clean work space clears your mind and I know this might sound weird but kind of encourages you to learn more?

Rhyming
Putting information into a rhyme is another way of making it easier to remember. An example is the rhyme that helps people remember how many days there are in each month:

30 days hath September, April, June, and November.
All the rest have 31
Except February my dear son.
It has 28 and that is fine
But in Leap Year it has 29.
This may prove a more effective way of memorising bigger chunks of information than the mnemonic examples i gave above. Your rhyme could be a little more modern-sounding to help you remember it, or you could use some tried and tested rhyming schemes such as rhyming couplets to help cement facts in your brain. Here's a truly terrible example to help you memorise the order of the planets:
Close to the Sun, hottest and between us
Are the burning fireballs of Mercury and Venus.

Next come homely Earth then Mars, then gas giants Jupiter and Saturn –
Are you starting to see a planetary pattern?

Icy Uranus and Neptune follow, and, bringing up the rear,
Humble Pluto – no longer a planet – sheds a tear.
It doesn't have to me a perfect l rhyme but try best and trust me or really helps! Remember to not accidentally sing your rhyme out loud in the middle of your exams !! ;)

Revision TIMETABLE
Research shows that shorter 20-30 minute spells work best, because your concentration is much higher. So I recommend taking short, frequent breaks. I totally also advise to mix the order order of the subjects. Take a look at the proposed timetable:

9.00-9.30 Subject 1
Break 5 mins
9.35-10.05 Subject 1
Break 5 mins
10.10-10.40 Subject 2
Break 5 mins
10.45-11.15 Subject 2
Break 30 mins
11.45-12.15 Subject 3
Break 5 mins
12.20-12.50 Subject 3
Break 1 hour
13.50-14.20 Subject 1
Do some exercise on some of your breaks.
Physical activity is very important, in particular during intense study time. Even going for a small 30-minute jog after a day of revision will make a huge difference to your wellbeing. Physical activity increases heart rate which makes the blood circulate faster. This in turn ensures that brain gets more oxygen which increases productivity whilst reducing tiredness and stress. If your a bit like me and do like to get out much because of the weather do some yoga? It relaxes you and your doing some exercise. It's a win-win am I right ??
Highlighting
If your a visual learn like me highlighting helps sooo much!! It helps remember stuff. I'm not saying highlight everything but just key things. Like for example you doing a test and one of the questions you highlighted is on it and you trying to remember it. Orange highlight represent: 1+1=2
Oh okay two is the answer..
