I put on my black converses as I sit in the floor. I finally fell asleep at like one o'clock. I woke up at four on the spot. I had showered in tremendous pain. I rewrap my waist and my wrist. I grab my car keys and walk down stairs. I check my outfit on last time before walking out. I had put on a dark purple tank top with my leather jacket. My pants were my dark wash skinny jeans. I lock the door and remember I still don't have a phone nor a car. I walk to the coffee shop down the street knowing that they will have a computer I can use to google the taxi's number or an uber number. I find the computer and login. I search an über number knowing that it would be cheaper. I find a male driver near me and grab the phone beside the computer. I dial the number and they pick up.
"This is über Jake. Where can I pick you up?" The male ask me.
"The coffee shop on twenty-fifth street." I reply.
"I am already here. My car is a White Ford Sudan." He replied. I hang up and limp to his car. I need to stop walking everywhere. My bruises and my cuts will never heal at this rate. I find his car and get in the back looking at my keys.
"Where am I taking you Ms..." He asks and I look up in to the eyes of him. I quickly get out of the car and run towards the nearest block end. I make four right turns and seven left turns before losing him. I look around and see I am completely lost with out a phone or a car. Crap!
"This is the best birthday ever!" I scream to myself. Near by walkers wish me a happy birthday and continue to walk. I look at my watch and see it is only six o'clock. I walk down to the subway and look at the maps. I see that I am in Harlem. I need to get out of here now. I read over the map. The next trip to where the hospital is in twenty minutes. I put my hand in my breast pocket to find the cool mental hit my fingers. My gun is still in here. I take a deep breath and let it go shakily. I don't want to use it but if I have to I will. My powers are useless here. Harlem and Bronx have power blockers. I can't use any of my powers so I have to carry my gun. I remove my hand from the pocket and walk to the ticket booth.
"I need a ticket to The Upper West side please." I tell him as I hand him my Metro card. He swipes it and hands me my card with the ticket. I step back on the platform. I hear the train coming early. It says train A to The Upper West side. I get on handing my ticket to the ticket person that stands in the doorway.
"Please sit in seat A45." The ticket person says. I nod my head and take a seat. I close my eyes as the train moves down the tracks. It stops once to pick up another passenger.
"Please sit in seat A49." The ticket person says. I open my eyes to see Bailey sit down in the seat near me. I keep my head down but I keep my eyes on her. She is consumed by her phone. I look at who she is texting. It is Bradley. (Picture of Bailey's messages below.)

I turn back to the seats in front of me. My eyes close and I sigh.
"Hello. My name is Bailey. What is yours?" Bailey ask me. I open my left eye and look at her.
"I'm Ray." I say my voice hoarse.
"You look like my best friend Ray. She broke her left arm and bruised her sides." Bailey says looking at me more clearly.
"Ummm....is her name Ray May Lewis?" I ask her. She nods slowly and I open my other eye looking her in the eyes. She gasps and closes the space between us. Her lips hit mine and she kisses me with happiness and passion. I pull away and smile at her. She is the reason I will be able love again.
