"You're always tagging her along", I complained while we wait for Heaven outside the building of her last class.

"What? I just told her about the practice and she volunteered to come."

"You could've told her to meet us there. Why do we have to wait for her?"

"You can just go now."

"Oh wow. Now I really feel like the third wheel in all this."

"I just don't want to hear you complains", Marco said. He seemed really irritated at me.

"I just don't want the extra push-ups because we're late", I back-pedaled.

"We're not. So stop worrying."

I looked at the students walking past us to ease my tension. I thought it would just be like any other day. I don't know why Heaven makes her self available to Marco all the time. Does she have no friends? Maybe she likes him too. Marco why? We should be enjoying our freedom and college.

"Kanina pa kayo?" a familiar voice said.

Ugh, finally. Marco answered her while I busied myself getting my bag.

"Hi Edward. Andito ka rin pala."

I just raised my eyebrows at her because I didn't understand her last sentence. She laughed a little at the realization.

"I said you're also here pala."

"Uh yeah." Did she think that it was just her and Marco? Does she want to be alone with Marco?

"Good. We're complete", she said smiling. So now we're a trio. I felt lighter that she included me. I thought she doesn't want me here, I guess I was wrong.

"Tara na?" Marco asked and she nodded her head. "Ako na magbuhat niyan." The ever gentleman Marco is at it again.

"Medyo mabigat yan. Nagtext kasi kahapon si Kristine. May practice din daw kami ng volleyball."

Oh that's why she's here with us. She's making all my assumptions wrong. And also, I can understand them better now. I just have to pick some key words that I learn from Ate Maymay.

"Foodtrip na naman ito pagkatapos."

"Really?" she sounds excited.

"Oo, it's kinda like a bonding slash meeting na rin para lalong mag unite ang team."

"Buti ok sa lahat na during weekdays ang practice."

"Lahat kasi ayaw maistorbo sa weekend and fortunately Wednesdays and Saturdays ang pinakamagaan sa freshmen. So we picked Wednesdays."

I am a bit lost with what they're talking about now. I glanced at my watch, five minutes before Christian becomes our king. He really is a good basketball player while Marco ang I struggle because from where we came from, basketball's not really popular. And that is a good excuse for Christian to boss us around. Well, to be fair, he really is a good team captain just a little strict sometimes.

We were supposed to practice on Monday but he didn't show up. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Marco. We haven't talked to him since so I am a little bit anxious on his reaction today.

"Edward..."

If he's still angry, which I think is immature of him, I hope he won't show up again. I just want to play ball today. I find basketball fun too, though football will always be my number one.

"Hoy Edward!" Heaven called while shaking my arm.

"Huh?"

"What are you thinking? We were talking to you kanina pa."
