FAILURE

"Everyone please gather around and you will be admitted for your test!" The president of the academy announced, Frisk was in a group of one hundred other participants, her mother, a grand sorceress and father a grand sorcerer, had both entered her into this academy to start her rise to greatness, but Frisk held a secret even from her own parents, she was a pacifist. She didn't wanna hurt anyone, she would only use her magic to help others, never to harm, but now she was being forced to show her magic, and she didn't like this scenario at all. "Frisk!" The president called from the center, Frisk stood up and walked to where the president stood. "Welcome to my academy Frisk, I am Deva, the president of the academy, I've heard many great things about your magic levels from your parents, I'm excited to see what you can do, so I've brought you a little sparring partner." Frisk was confused, she'd heard about the entrance exam, but a sparring partner? Who? What? She didn't have time to think much longer because two wizards dragged in what looked like a skeleton, he had.. Fuzzy pink slippers on? But the rest of his wardrobe was blue, even his hat, when the skeleton was released by the men he stood up, and dusted himself off, then his eye glowed blue and he growled when his time magic wasn't working. He glared at Frisk, who whimpered, which caused him to smirk, "who's this? A human with no magical power to face me? Is that why you disabled my magic?" The president seemed offended by his words and spoke harshly. "This is the daughter of the most powerful magic users in history, she will utterly destroy you, that barrier, and your pathetic monster race." Frisk shot a questioning look to the president who had a smirk on their face and snapped their fingers immediately teleporting her, the skeleton, and the president to what looked like a magic arena to Frisk. "Before we begin.." The skeleton announced, "my name is Sans, and if you don't come at me with everything you've got right now.."

You're gonna have a bad time.

Those words sent a chill down Frisk's spine, the president released the anti magic field and the duel started, Sans snapped his fingers and a skull formed behind him, it had a number on it, 3, Frisk wasn't able to think further because Sans snapped his fingers again and the skull fired a laser at her, she immediately put up a barrier, the laser hit, but had no effect on her barrier. "Not bad kid, but how long can that barrier last? The longer we fight.. The stronger I get.." Frisk didn't know what he meant till she saw it, the number on the skull had changed to 2! It fired again changing to 1, the laser again having no effect on her barrier, the president was impressed to say the least, no previous barrier had been able to withstand Sans's laser, but they were curious why Frisk hadn't counter attacked. "When are you gonna attack, huh?" Sans asked also slightly confused at the lack of bloodlust he sensed from Frisk, Frisk didn't answer she only kept her barrier up, another laser, 0 then the skull vanished and two took it's place, both with the same number on them, Frisk kept the barrier up and walked forward towards Sans, who snapped his fingers and both skulls simultaneously fired but they couldn't damage Frisk's barrier. "Now that's something.. My Time Blasters have no effect against your barrier, but how much longer can you keep that up?" Two more lasers, then again another, Frisk continued to walk forward, there were now four Time Blasters, they all fired, but still had no effect on Frisk's barrier. "You're really something special kid, it's too bad I have to do this.. Nothing personal, gotta protect my family.." Sans snapped his fingers and teleported behind her inside Frisk's barrier, she didn't startle, she didn't waver she only smiled at him and expanded her barrier, Frisk walked up to Sans and placed her hand on his forehead, "sleep" Sans immediately fell asleep standing, the president applauded and stood up smiling proudly. "Bravo! Well done Frisk! You are indeed to be chosen to rid the world of those despicable monsters once and for all! Now finish him off!" Frisk didn't move.

Inside Sans' dream

"Sans?" Frisk called, she didn't recognize where she was, and it was so cold, there was snow everywhere. "What are you doing here kiddo? Here to gloat over your victory? How about you just kill me already.." Sans sounded like he'd given up, "I won't.. I don't want to hurt anyone! Please, when I wake you up, take me with you! To the underground!" Sans growled "so you can kill everyone I love and betray me? Do you think I'm that stupid?!" Sans was angrier than ever, he woke up forcing Frisk out of his dream and his eye was flaming blue, "I will NEVER trust a human! Ever!" He teleported away leaving Frisk and the president the only two in the magic arena. "What happened!? How did he get away!? Why didn't you end him!?" The president shouted at Frisk, she didn't waver, she eyed the president with determination and said clearly. "I will never help you or anyone else kill anyone!" She then walked off ignoring whatever the president had to say to her afterwards, and walked all the way home, but when she got to her house, the magic barrier prevented her from entering, her mother and father were standing just inside of it and spoke harshly. "We saw what you did, you're a failure. You're not our daughter. If you side with the monsters, then we will kill you right now." Frisk didn't have time to tear up or feel any emotion, she put up her barrier quickly as flames and lightning struck the barrier over and over from her parents' attacks, Frisk screamed at them "the monsters are not a danger! We enslaved them! Treated them like garbage! They deserved to be treated as equals! I won't harm anyone! Please! Stop this!" A ways away Sans was watching this whole scene play out "kid.. You really mean that..? I know I'm gonna regret this.." He sighed and teleported inside Frisk's barrier again, she noticed him but was focused on blocking her parents' attacks, Sans grabbed her hand "don't you dare betray me kid!" Frisk nodded and Sans teleported them both to the underground.
