TRAINING BEGINS

Papyrus Pov

After waking up and heading downstairs to make some breakfast I noticed Sans and the tiny human had fallen asleep on the couch, I quietly snuck into the kitchen so I wouldn't wake them and started to cook in the kitchen when I heard loud pounding at the door "Open up punks! I'm here to help ya train!" I halted my cooking and went to open the door when it was kicked off it's hinges and pushed me into the wall.

Undyne Pov

After no one answered the door I kicked it in, I saw Frisk and Sans sleeping on the couch and snickered
at them, "Wake up punks!" I yelled, laughing when they startled, Sans gave me a glare of annoyance which I ignored.

Sans Pov

I had noticed my brother sneaking past me, but kid was still sleeping so peacefully, I didn't wanna wake her, that is, maybe I should have, soon after Papyrus went into the kitchen, loud banging on the door which could only be coming from Undyne caused Papyrus to walk towards the door before a loud crash, then Undyne snickered and through laughter yelled at the both of us to get up, sometimes I hate that fish, I gave her a glare, which she seemed to ignore, Frisk groaned and sat up on my stomach and groggily looked at me and I chuckled, "morning kiddo" she smiled sleepily and gave a sleepy wave to Undyne before hopping off my stomach and started to walk towards the kitchen when she hit her toe against the leg of the coffee table, she rolled on the ground for awhile holding her foot, I picked her up with my magic and held her upside down, she looked at me and patted my head so I set her down, she seemed fine after that. Undyne had spent half that time laughing, Papyrus had rushed out of the kitchen to make sure Frisk was alright, I glared at Undyne while assuring Papyrus that the kid was fine, she gave me a smile and walked into the kitchen with Papyrus, "well since you're here already, care to join us for breakfast?" I asked Undyne who just nodded, Papyrus had fixed scrambled eggs, and sausage, the kid was already on her second plate, Papyrus stared at them in excitement, no one had ever enjoyed his cooking enough to eat a second plate, I smiled and ate what was on my plate, once we were done eating Undyne sent Papyrus on an impossible errand but told him to only return in 6 hours if he couldn't do it, I walked outside and summoned one of my blasters and cleared out some of the trees around including the trunks, leaving the ground barren and solid, a perfect place to train. Frisk jogged out with Undyne shortly after smiling and giggling, she was actually getting to act like a child for once, I didn't blame her for her actions, who knows how her parents had raised her.

No One's Pov

Undyne told Sans he could train Frisk for the first three hours then she'd take over for the last three hours, Sans nodded and summoned a Gaster Blaster, the timer read 15 seconds, "alright kid, what I want you to try to do, is focus your barrier on the blaster of mine, when it fires,put a barrier in front of it, so it will destroy itself, we've gotta see how much more that barrier can do." Frisk nodded and looked at the blaster cautiously, she frowned not wanting to destroy anything but knew she didn't have a choice anymore since she needed to train to be able to protect herself, the Gaster Blaster fired, she focused on it but the barrier only appeared a few feet in front of her instead of around the Gaster Blaster, the blast was deflected and scorched the ground near the barrier, "again!" Sans shouted as the blaster readied another blast, again the barrier appears in the same spot, the blast was deflected and scorches the same spot on the ground again, the blaster readied to fire again, Frisk focuses and the barrier appears directly in front of the blaster, the blast gets deflected and destroys it, Sans looks at the remains of his best magic and smiles, "very good, now try it against two!" Sans announces as he summons a Gaster Blaster with a 3 on it's skull, after it counts to 0 it splits into 2 and the timers freeze, "this time, try splitting up your barrier, like I split up my Gaster Blasters." Frisk tried, but she couldn't manage it no matter how much she tried, "I can't do it Sans, I don't think I can.." Frisk said losing determination fast. "Don't give up kid! Stay determined, I believe in ya, believe in the me that believes in you!" Just before three hours and many near misses with blasters Frisk managed to split her barrier into two equal halves and reflected the blasts back at the blasters, once again eliminating them, "my turn punks! Get over here Frisk!" Undyne shouted from afar, she must have been counting the minute or something cause she was right on the dot of three hours, Sans shrugged and laughed, "good luck, kiddo, Undyne doesn't even go easy on Papyrus!" He shouted while Frisk was already jogging to where Undyne was.  "Before we start I've got rules for you kid, no barrier, no magic, and no running, you have to stand there and learn to Dodge magic attacks, or King Asgore will kill you without trying." Frisk gulped, she'd never had to not use her barrier before, Undyne formed a spear in her hand and threw it at Frisk, it was so fast Frisk barely managed to turn before it cut her cheek, blood dripped from the cut and she winced, another spear, this time it cut her leg, she kept getting slightly hit for the first hour, by the time she could manage to completely Dodge the spears she was all cut up and two hours had passed, now Undyne couldn't hit her, she sent two spears three spears, even five spears at a time, but Frisk dodged them all, Undyne clapped at how quickly Frisk had adapted, "you learn quick punk! Now try using your barrier while dodging!" Undyne challenged as she threw more and more spears at Frisk,  dodging and concentrating wasn't that difficult because Frisk had to concentrate on where the spears were gonna land, since she could predict that, she could dodge them, no matter how fast they were thrown, she formed her barrier on her arms and started to deflect the spears with tiny armguard shaped barriers on her arms. "Very good punk! Now I want you to try and expand your barrier as much as you can, because if you don't you're gonna be hurting!" As Undyne said this a hundred or more spears formed behind her and were simultaneously thrown at Frisk, Frisk focused and the barrier formed around her, she willed it to expand but nothing happened, she tried again, the spears grew closer, still nothing happened, she was determined to increase the size of her barrier, anything to help the monsters, she focused again and the barrier expanded immensely, destroying all of the spears and even pushing Undyne back a bit before finally stopping, the barrier had expanded nearly 50 feet, Sans had been watching and was amazed at how much Frisk had progressed in such little time, "this kid's a genius."
