The Adventures of Northstar and the Winter Soldier
"Hurry, Northstar!" He called back to me.
I was standing in a clearing, charging my powers. The countryside was best, since I had view of the most stars, but a forest was next best.
I opened my eyes, which were glowing with a silvery blue light. I held out my hands, feeling the power and a cloud of bright miniature stars, more like glitter than real gas giants, came out of my palms.
It was so refreshing getting to stand in the starlight. They tried to keep me away and the longing almost drove me insane.
"Are you done?" The Winter Soldier asked impatiently.
"Yes." I turned, closing my fists and making the stars disappear.
And we ran off into the night.
