"Don't you forget about me - don't don't don't don't - don't you..forget about me"
I put my headphones out of my ears when I realized that we were about to land. I looked out of the window and saw the coast of Barcelona from above. I love the sea, the sand, the sun. The coast reminds me of Rio.
I can't believe that I'm really leaving Rio. Within the last years I fell in love with this city. I have friends there and my family in Sao Paulo, leaving them in Brazil feels so wrong, but being here is such a huge possibility.
When my father told me about the chance to work in Rio for a tv channel six years ago I never thought it would ever take me to Europe. Europe seemed always so far away to me. So..unreachable. Now I am here, working as a sport journalist in a completely different country...a completely different city.
Never have I ever thought that this would all happen to me. The last years went by so fast. It really seems like something in my life is going to change now.
RAFINHAS POV
"Babyyyy, do you know what day it is today?" Samantha said while hugging me from behind and placing wet kisses on my neck. I turned around to look at her. I didn't quiet understand what she was talking about and when I looked at her I didn't even care about that. She is dressed like a sl.ut again. Before I could say anything she started talking again. "Exactly 6 years ago you came to Barcelona! Aaaand that also means that we know each other for 5 years and 11 months already, right?!" she screamed happily and placed another kiss on my cheek.
Wow. Six years already. The time went by so fast. I can still remember coming here with my father next to me, not really sure how to behave in such a strange country and in such a foreign city. Six years. So many experiences made.
"I've never believed that our relationship would last for such a long time! We even made it when you were playing for Vigo!" She said while she was preparing her breakfast. As she said that all the times we argued and all the times she cheated on me came into my mind. "Yeah, it's crazy", was the only thing I said. I looked at her once again. I can't really explain what I like about her. She's blond, she is wearing these short clothes, has blue eyes and wearing so much make up. She's definetly not the type of woman I normally like. I don't really now why I'm still with her.
"I'll have to leave for training soon - are we going to see each other in the evening?" I asked her while I ate the last piece of my tortilla.
-"Nope", she said shaking her head. "Didn't I tell you that I am at my managers tonight?".
No, she didn't. Sure, it's business, I thought to myself. But deep inside I know exactly what's going to happen at her manager's house...How sad that I don't even care anymore...
