But Jared could see the sadness that lingered in your eyes, the sadness that not just anyone could see. A small smile graced his lips when he saw that Jensen could still have a slight chance at getting you back.

"Jared?" Jensen demands. "What am I supposed to do?"

"Call her."

=====

The con was the highlight of your week, even though you were bombarded with questions about Jensen and you.....and the rumor of your pregnancy. You were still content, happy to be out of the house but still not completely satisfied.

You decided to drive home on your own instead of the limo that Robert had rented for everyone to drive in, you were still a small town girl being honest and just like Dean and Jensen....you drove around to forget about your problems/to just allow yourself to breathe.

So that's where you were, your favorite music blasting through the speakers with all the windows rolled down. The wind blowing through your H/L H/C hair with your sunglasses pushed up over your eyes as you sang to the music in your loudest/off key voice just because you could.

You didn't even notice your phone ringing the first few times until your eyes cast down to the passenger seat of the car for a split second to see the screen lighting up with Jensen's contact. You furrow your eyes in confusion but quickly look away when the honking of a car horn grabs your attention.

THIRD POV
JENSEN

"She's not answering," Jensen mutters while dropping his phone down to his lap, letting his head fall into his hands. "I should've known."

"Hey man, don't give up just yet. She may be busy because it hasn't gone straight to voicemail right?" Jared replies, quickly giving his friend a spark of hope. "Let's just turn on the TV or something. Wait a little while and try again later, okay?"

"Yeah, fine." Jensen sighs while Jared turns on the TV, a news story about a large car crash immediately coming onto the screen.

YOUR POV

You continue to take deep breaths, your heart leaping out of your throat. On shaky legs, you finally climb out of your car to inspect the damage done. You had swerved off the road just in time, the car was about to crash into your car head on. In reality, it wouldn't have been your fault, it was the guy who was on the wrong side of the damn road.

You had been able to stop the car before it smashed into the tree and the car seemed to be in great shape, except for a small dent on the passenger door but you could honestly care less. With a sigh of relief, you lean against the car; putting your hand on your forehead to wipe away the sweat.

"I'm okay." You whisper with a nod. "We're okay."

You release a shaky breath with a laugh before climbing back into the car, quickly grabbing your phone to see the amount of missed calls; which was a lot. Tears streamed down your cheeks as you shakily pressed the call back button and placed the phone to your ear.

"Hello?" A gruff voice answers, you let out another sob/laughter mix as the shock finally wears off.

"Hi." You smile.

"Y/N? Are you okay? What's going on?" Jensen demands.

"I realized that I made a mistake." You whisper.

"What do you mean?" Jensen questions, utterly confused.

"Jensen, I almost just died. And I wasn't worried about me or our child, I was worried about never getting to see you again." You explain. "And god, I realized that whatever's going on....I really want to fix it."

"I'm sorry," Jensen mutters. "I shouldn't have said it wasn't mine....I shouldn't have accused you."

"Jensen." You mumble.

"Yes?" He questions.

"Can I come home?"

"Please."

LATER

"Wait, so you're sneaking out?" Elizabeth demands while helping you pack your bag. "This is so exciting!"

"I'm not really sneaking out, I'm like twenty-eight." You reply. "Think of it more as....leaving for a vacation without telling anyone."

"To go and reunite with the father of your child." She gushes. "See? Exciting!"

"Okay, yeah it is." You smile while zipping up your duffel bag, she soon following by zipping up your other bag.

"Be safe okay? And run, I can only cover for so long." Elizabeth chuckles.

"When they do figure it out." You sigh while going to your dresser drawer, pulling out a small box. "Pass these out okay? There's one in there for you too."

"Of course!" She smiles. "I just....can not believe it took you almost dying to figure this stuff out."

"I knew it all along." You sigh while swinging both bags over your shoulders. "It just took awhile for me to admit them. I'm just really happy he tried calling....like twelve times."

"That's a good thing, that shows that he's not going to give up." Elizabeth smirks.

"I was just thinking if I didn't pick up that he was going to show up in the pouring rain." You laugh. "Don't think that would've ended well."

"It would've been sweet." Elizabeth assures as you open your window, throwing both bags down to the ground.

"Yeah, it would've." You sigh while pulling her into a hug. "Thank you....for everything."

"Of course, but if this is your way of 'not sneaking out'." Elizabeth chuckles. "Call me when you do sneak out."

"I'll remember that." You smile before turning back around to the window, quickly climbing out and down to the ground before you could convince yourself not to. The taxi you had called pulls up a few seconds later, the man quickly getting out to grab your bags and put them into the trunk.

You offer a smile as thanks before turning back around to the window to see Elizabeth with tears in her eyes, waving you off. Tears gather in your own eyes as you offer a small wave, quickly you climb into the car and tell the man to go to the airport before turning back towards the house.

Elizabeth watches you go before closing the window, the tears now flowing freely down her cheeks. She knew what this meant, you going back to the show and Jensen. She knew that you'd only come around for special occasions and that she may not always be there for that.

She was losing another Best Friend.

And this time Elizabeth knew she couldn't stop it

=====

Hey guys!

How's life?

Hope I didn't scare any of you with the whole 'car crash'. Believe me when I say that I was going to go a whole different direction with that.

But then I thought I'd be nice.
