Chapter Twenty-Four

You arrived at the airport in Vancouver exactly five hours and forty minutes later, yeah what you'd do for this man. You took every available flight, even if you'd have to run through the airport just to not miss your second/next flight.

But you had finally made it to Vancouver, which made you quite tired but it was worth it in your eyes. You'd tried to sleep on the flight but you actually were quite afraid of heights...so sleeping didn't really happen unless you had taken a pill that would help you. Which you only did once because fear had a too tight grip on you.

You had called Jared at the airport in Montana, the last airport before you'd arrive exactly seven miles away from Jared's house that he stayed at during filming. He'd been ecstatic that you had decided to come and promised that he wouldn't tell Jensen and that he'd come to pick you up while Gen distracted him.

So here you were, standing on the escalator with both of your duffel bags on your shoulders. Your eyes scanning over the crowd, looking for your ride because honestly you were drained. When your eyes finally land on his, yours grow three sizes when you see all the kids around his legs; looking for you.

Quickly, you mutter 'excuse me' while rushing past the last amount of people on the escalator. Your drained energy suddenly is forgotten as you rushed around the gathering bodies until you stopped a few feet away from the group, a smile on your face.

"Mommy!" JJ shrieks at the top of her lungs before rushing towards you, you drop your bags to your feet while quickly lifting up the girl; swinging her around.

"Hey, Y/N." Jared smiles while pulling you into a hug after you had placed JJ onto your hip.

"Hey, Jared." You chuckle as he pulls you into a hug, pulling away as his kids come to hug your legs. All screaming hello's/how much they had all missed you. You smile down at them and reply with your hellos and how much you had missed them as Jared picks up your bags.

"So, are you ready to go? Because I think this is a little longer than a small grocery trip for our game night." Jared chuckles as you lift Shep up on your other hip, Thomas walking close to your leg as you weaved your way through the crowd.

"Seriously?" You question. "I thought I could trust you!"

"Gen, Misha, and Victoria.....along with their kids but they were sleeping when we left....anyways they're distracting him!" Jared mumbles on as you all step out the front doors of the large airport, quickly walking to the awaiting black car before anyone could recognize either of you.

"Jared." You whine while buckling JJ into her car seat, soon doing Austin's buckle afterward as Jared did Thomas's.

"What?" He whines back. "You didn't exactly give me a big enough window for me to come up with something that would actually work!"

"Wow, Jared and I called you a mastermind, trusting your skills." You chuckle while climbing into the passenger seat, Jared climbing into the driver's seat with a roll of his eyes.

"It was the best I could do with just Gen knowing!" Jared replies. "The others didn't know!"

"Uhm." You grumble, a smile still growing on your lips. "But seriously, thanks."

"You're welcome." Jared states with a nod. "It was very difficult to get the smiling Jensen to not come after you."

"Really?" You demand, your smile growing.

"Yeah, especially after he realized how idiotic he was being." Jared comments, causing you both to laugh.

"Well, good to know that I don't have to point that out." You laugh, Jared shakes his head while turning on the radio; Let It Go coming on immediately.

The kids in the back shriek in excitement, along with yourself, before everyone in the car seemed to burst out into song. Singing as loud and as off key as each of you could muster, quickly you had pulled out your phone and started to record you all singing. Leaving it on the dashboard so you could start dancing along with everyone else.

And that's how the whole car ride was spent, the radio turning on the greatest songs, you recording everyone singing to their heart's content. You honestly had a blast and you knew you were back where you belonged, being happier than you had been in months.
