Percy walked out f the door and called for Snap. The dragon responded almost immediately. When he landed his breathe reeked of fish. It was obvious he had been over at the stables, eating.
Percy plugged his nose and patted the dragon. "Let's go see Turin." He wanted to apologize for having been so rude, and an apology for himself wouldn't be so bad.
Snap rolled his eyes. Percy ignored it and hopped into the saddle. His saddle was soft. Sheep wool inside of leather. It was great for flying fast.
As the dragon tromped slowly down the hill, Percy wondered what to say. I'll just..apologize and see where that gets us? He'll..probably be mad at first or the whole way through. Should I stand my ground, or bend to him?
He never had time to return to his thoughts, for the duo had already arrived at the household. Geir, Turin's father, wasn't home. Percy could tell because only one of the three stables was occupied. It was Devyn's dragon, a white skrill, sparking with blue energy.
Percy dismounted Snap and walked to the door. Taking a deep breath, he knocked. Turin answered it almost immediately.
"I'm sorry!" He threw his arms around Percy's shoulders. Percy hugged him back.
"I missed you too man.." He had not expected this reaction. All of the scenes he had imagined were for nothing.
Turin sniffled like a small child. "I didn't mean any of the things I said.."
"Neither did I." Agreed Percy.
"W-want to come inside? My mom made something for you."
Confused yet intrigued, Percy entered. Devyn looked up from her loom to see Percy and Turin. She cracked a wide smile.
Turin rolled his hand towards his mom. Devyn held up a black hoodie and a white hoodie. She also held up a pair of leggings that shared a close resemblance to jeans.
"Turin needed some new clothes, so of course, I made him some. I figured you two would be friends again quite soon, so I decided to make you some!" She said cheerily.
Percy's heart warmed at the clothes. Making them for him had been nice enough, but it made him even happier that they were fit to his style. A modern day style.
"Thanks," he said as he smiled. He took the clothes and tucked them into Snaps saddlebag. He ran back inside. "So uh..I have to talk with Hiccup later. Until then want to hang?"
"Sure!" Said Turin excitedly. He whistled back into his room and a baby Stormcutter came running out.
It had electric blue eyes and grey scales. The edges of its wings and such were black like his faint spots.
"What's his name?" Asked Percy.
Turin pat the small dragons head. "I call him Dumaad."
"That's an..exotic name," commented Percy.
Turin shrugged. "Ready to go? We can fish or something. This little guy eats more than you would think."
Percy smiled again. "Sure."Sorry for not updating often. My charger is broken, I'm getting a new one on Tuesday. For now I temporarily stole my sisters charger. Thanks and bye!
