Hiccup was first inside. The topic of, "Vroom," had been forgotten. Toothless had led Snap to the dragon infirmary.
Percy sat down and lounged on Hiccups couch. Hiccup didn't seem to mind. "So...what now?"
Hiccup shrugged. "Only the gods know how long you'll be here. So why not do something fun?"
Percy smiled. "What fun things do you guys have here?"
"We have loads of stuff! We have dragon racing, blacksmithing, fishing, dragon racing, crop contests, dragon racing.."
"So you actually don't have that much..?"
Hiccup looked down faking ashamed. "Yeah."
Percy basically leapt to the edge of his set. "Do you know what war games are?!"
Hiccup shook his head. Percy continued. "It's like capture the flag! Wait err...do you know what capture the flag is?" Hiccup shook his head again.
Percy facepalmed. "Apprentice you have much to learn."
"Okay, so capture the flag. There are two teams. Each team has a base and a flag. You fight with swords to get your way to the other side and get the flag. You need armor, just by the way, since you're using real swords. Oh and uh hammers are not recommended."
"Sounds interesting enough. But the problem is, we don't have enough swords or armor." Said Hiccup.
"Well uh...you should really get some. Wait, you mean to say you have no troops?"
Hiccup shrugged. "Why do we need them? We have freaking dragons on our side!"
"Fair point but what if they turned on you? Then you can't defend yourself."
Hiccuped sighed. "I guess you're right. I'll get training started in the arena tomorrow."
Percy nodded. "Sounds great. I highly doubt the dragons will turn on you," he added. "I was just trying to get across that having training, armor, and weapons is a smart thing to have."
Hiccup stood up. "I best be off then. Toothless or I will send Snap to your cabin when he's treated."
Percy nodded. "Well, then I'll be over there." He nodded again, this time in respect, and walked down the hill to his cabin.
He flopped on his bed, which he found a million times more comfortable than the sea floor, and happily sighed.
At first Percy had seen Hiccup as intimidating. But now he realized that Hiccup was just another person, like him. Capable of messing around and making jokes.
Percy let himself fall asleep quickly. When he woke up the next morning he felt energized. He dressed into his camp half blood shirt, purple hoodie, and jeans. They reminded him of home.
