Issel POV

"So what are you two Sparrows up to?" Gibbs asked as he took a drink.
"We're going after the Black Pearl," Jack said.
Gibbs chocked on his drink out. I expected this reaction from him.
"I know where it will be and how to get there, all I need is a crew," Jack said.
I cleared my throat, "I think you mean we. I'm just as much in this as you."
"Jack, Issel, what are your thinking? Don't you remember the last time-"
"I have the scars to remember Gibbs," I snapped at Gibbs.
I knew he was scared of me. Quite a few people in Tortuga were. I can be intimidating.
"We have a way to persuade Barbossa. After all it's all a matter of leverage," Jack said.
Jack did some really weird head gestures to Haly and Will. Gibbs didn't get it.
"Oh for goodness sakes!" I said and moved Gibbs' head to look at them.
           "The kids?"
Jack nodded, "those two there are Bootstrap Turners children. His only children."
            Realization dawned on Gibbs face.
He laughed, "I'm sure I can find someone on this rock willing to help you."
I smiled along with Jack. A small part of me felt bad for using Haly and Will as leverage. They didn't ask for that. What was I thinking, I'm a freaking pirate! I don't feel bad about these kind of things. But a small part of me did. Was that the part of me that started the feelings for Will? Snap out of it Issel! Now's not the time to be wondering about this.
But I still did. And that's what I wondered about all night till we met with Gibbs to meet the people who would join our crew.

When Jack was slapped for the third time since we got to Tortuga, Haly and I completely lost it. We were laughing so hard.
"Didn't deserve that one either?" Will asked.
"Oh no he definitely deserved it," I said when I could breathe again.
"You stole my boat!" The woman who I couldn't remember the name of yelled at Jack.
"Borrowed actually. With every intent to bring it back," Jack said, and he looked slightly frightened of the woman.
            "But you never did!"
Haly and I had to try really hard not to bust out laughing again. This was just to much.
"You'll get a new ship!" Jack said.
"A better one," Will helped, and Jack went along.
"That one," Will said, and pointed to our ship.
"That one?!" Jack and I half yelled at him.
Will and Haly gave us identical looks. I knew what they were trying to say. If we didn't promise them a good ship they would never help.
And they were right. They immediately agreed to join as soon as Jack promised them the ship.
"I wouldn't do that sir. It's bad luck to bring a woman aboard," Gibbs said.
I turned around and slapped him after he said that.
"It would be worse luck not to, for all three of them," Jack said.
I gave Gibbs a glare and so did Haly. We started walking to the boat.
"I don't know why I still stand him," I muttered.
Haly and I shared a look and we both started laughing again. We didn't know why. But we laughed and laughed until we got back aboard the Interceptor. Maybe we could become friends after all.

(A/N what do you guys think? Do you think Haly and Issel will become friends? Will, Will and Issel end up together or will Issel's feelings only apply to her? Please comment and vote! Thank you all!)
