Sisters of the blacksmith and the pirate

Chapter 23

Issel POV

          What now? What do we do now?
          "You filthy low life pirate! You steal what is mine now you pay a price!!" Elizabeth yells at me. So that's what we're gonna do now. Great.
            Elizabeth pulls out a sword but Haly blocks her before she can do anything.
             "Stop Elizabeth," she said flatly.
            "Yeah, miss engaged-to-Norington. Your really that stupid to forget about your own engagement?"
Elizabeth yelled, and was able to catch Haly off balance. Haly fell onto the ground but got back up almost instantly. Elizabeth charged at me, but I blocked her easily.
"See, the thing you forget is, I've had a lot more training than you. We all have-"
"Haly doesn't know how to sword fight," Elizabeth cut me off.
"Excuse me!" Haly yelled, "I trained with Will for years! And did you not see anything that happened in that battle? Or are you too high and mighty to see the other people around you doing more than you?"
"Ugh! You both are trying to ruin my life!"
"WE RUINED YOUR LIFE?" Haly and I yelled at her.
"YOU GOT ME AND WILL STUCK HERE TO BE AT THE MERCY OF IMMORTAL, EVIL, PIRATES!" Haly yelled.
"YOU GOT ME STUCK ON THE ISLAND I WAS ALREADY GOT MAROONED ON BEFORE!" I yelled.
"ALRIGHT! Haly, Issel, calm down. Elizabeth... just stop." Will yelled over us all.
            I looked over at him, he smiled slightly at me before pulling his sister away to talk to her. I couldn't make out their conversation from here but I wasn't too worried. Elizabeth just glared at me then stormed away from me towards the rowboats. That's when Jack turned to me. We just looked at each other for a minute, my hands rested on my hips, waiting for the other to say something.
              Out of nowhere I slapped him.
               "Ow! What was that for Issel!" Jack yelped.
               "That was for your idiotic and awful plan of yours," I said flatly.
               "It worked though!"
               "I don't care. It was idiotic and awful. That's all it was. Your lucky your my brother or I probably would have done a lot worse than slap you."
            With that said, I spun around and went to go see what Will and Haly were talking about.

Sorry for the shot chapter! I hoped it would be longer but that didn't happen. So, my goal is, to try and finish this and one other book (Love Never Ends for those of you reading it) by the end of the month. And we'll see if that actually happens. Who knows?
