Detective Finch started to walk to his car but I continued walking down the sidewalk.

"Where are you going?" He asked me.

"I don't do cars."

"Haru get in the car. The station is on the other side of the city."

"No thanks, I choose life." He then ran up and grabbed me by my jacket dragging me to his car. A look of great defeat was written on my face. I didn't want to be in here, I didn't even want to be near this death trap. But I had no other choice. He started the car and once we were off I could feel everything in the car moving. Then it started to hit me. That tidal wave of dread and sickness. I hated every aching minute of it.

"Are you okay, Haru? You don't look too good."

"Just shut-." I couldn't even talk I was so sick.

'Get me out of here!!!' Kept repeating in my mind.

"Do you want me to pull over?"

"Just... keep... going." We had finally made it to the station. I got out of the car woosley and glared at him.

"Don't make me do that again?"

"All I had you do was ride to work with me. What's so wrong about that?"

"I have severe motion sickness. I can't ride on any mode of transportation without feeling sick."

"You could have told me that before I shoved you in the car... Look I'm sorry, do you need so water?"

"No, I'm fine. Plus I am not taking off my mask just for water. Revealing my identity to anyone can get me killed. No matter who you are I will never trust you enough to where I will reveal it."

"I understand." I walked around the car to the steps. When we made our way into the building I could hear people murmuring under their breaths about us. Detective Finch didn't seem to noticed so we just walked to the Chief's office. I didn't even knock, I just barged in.

"Who are you? Detective Finch? What's going on?" He questioned.

"He want's on the force and I want him to become my partner."

"Well, who is he?"

"His name is Haru Himura."

"Where is his paperwork and why does he have that mask on?"

"He was never sent to the academy. And he has reasons behind the mask."

"Finch I can't just bring a man onto our force who hasn't even been through the academy. And what are his reasons for the mask?"

"Revealing my identity to anyone could quite possibly get me killed sir," I replied with. He just simply stared.

"With all due respect sir, I don't recall there ever being a law that a worker has to go through the academy but I do believe that they have to possess some kind of ability that is reliable to the the line of work."

"Where did you learn that?" He asked me

"I learn everything about something before I can commit myself to do it or even begin to trust it in the slightest way. Just like how I read up on Detective Finch and everyone else in this building, along with you." I stared at him and it seemed as though his view on me had changed. He looked at me with amazement but also fear at the same time. That was exactly the same expression I got from Finch when we first met and when he found out about my ability.

"He would be under my watch Chief."

"*Sigh* I'll think about it."

"Alright then, I'll start right now. I will not wear a uniform. I will not sit at a desk all day and do paperwork. And I will only work with Detective Finch. Also, I would like to see a paycheck in the future. It's a pleasure to be working with you gentlemen." I then exited the room.

"Where did you find him?"

"Do you remember that robbery on 53rd street?"

"Yes."

"He was there when we got there. The criminals were tied up behind him and the hostages told us that he snuck them out. We can trust him, I know it."

"I've never seen you this confident with a partner before."

"I think he might just be changing that." Then Detective Finch walked out of the office leaving the Chief to wonder.

'What will become of these two?'
