This Is Me

first day

today was my first day at Melanie high a school for the really creative I'm there because of my imagination I'm a very talented artist that also likes making books I have  boyfriend but things aren't going so well who am I kidding things are terrible with me and Jake he doesn't even pay attention to me anymore my family is kind of terrible as well I live with my grandma and grandpa but my grandma is terrible she came in my room yesterday and took the book I  was writing and she just started tearing pages then screamed at me for no reason I just want it all to stop...

so I walk in to Melanie high and see a group of girls singing acapella they sounded really good then there was these guys dancing they were really talented then I heard laughing coming from a room a peak in and see people drawing each other then I heard a girls voice she was singing and playing the piano I knew the song she was singing she was singing this is gospel by panic at the disco my all time favorite band I walked in she didn't seem to notice me she started over and she sang this is gospel for the fallen ones I couldn't help but sing along locked away in permanent slumber she stopped singing and looked at me I said oh I'm sorry ill just go  the girl said no its fine you have a good voice I'm holly hi I said back I'm Alex I'm guessing you listen to panic at the disco to holly said yeah  cool your an amazing singer I said to holly thanks she said back and one thing you should know about me is I'm a lesbian when holly said that something sparked inside me I didn't know what it was but I knew it was something I went to go find my best friend who was also good at art I walk in to a room that has paint splatters everywhere and I see Kate looking at a picture of a cheetah on the wall that she probably painted saying no I think you should have to cubs why must you argue with me I say because I don't want kids her eyes dart over to the door and says oh hey Alex you totally didn't see me talking to Mr. spotty right even though I saw the whole thing I just said oh yeah and winked then there was a moment of silence before we both broke into sudden laughter I said well ill see you later bye

I was decorating my locker with band stuff Dan and Phil stuff and everything when I saw Jake in the distance he was flirting with  another girl I marched right over to him and told him we are over he didn't care classic Jake the rest of my day was pretty good I still cant stop thinking about holly and the spark it was probally because we liked the same things that's all right
