Chapter 13: Don't be stupid ya git

" I'm sorry. " the confusion was seen across Devons face.

" why are yo-"

" I'm sorry for punching Weeslebee in the face" Draco looked down at his hands waiting for her to yell at him. Looking up at her, he saw her confused face.

"Why are you apologizing to me ? I'm not the one you punched idiot." Rolling her eyes she began to walk towards the great hall. She fumbled with the heavy books in her hand for a moment before continuing to walk. Looking to her right, she saw Draco run to catch up to her not willing to let his apology be blown off.

" I'm saying sorry because you were there and I could tell you were mad. But I didn't want you to be mad at me as I'm trying to be a better person."  He quickly cuts in front of her stopping her in her tracks.

Looking to her left down the hallway she sees the red headed twins she loves so much leaning against the wall waiting for her. Looking Fred in the eye she nods signaling she's okay. " I guess I forgive you. I mean I shouldn't because you were an ass. But never do it again. Ever. Don't be stupid ya git." She gives him a small smile before turning around and taking a few steps forward.

Quickly turning around she slaps him across the face. His hand races to his cheek holding his stinging skin. " I mean it. Never come after someone I love again. I forgave you once. I won't do it again."

Turning around she walks towards the twins. They wrap a arm around her shoulder and lead her down the hallway but not before giving the blonde boy a glare. Leaving him with just a single thought.... ' her smile is so beautiful.'

Walking down the dark hallway, she turns the corner before stopping. There in the center of the corridor say a dog. Looking around she slowly reaches her hand out, " Hi baby. It's okay........ come here sweetheart." The dog slowly walks towards the girl before resting its face against her hand.

Rubbing the dogs fur lightly she cringes at the greasy feeling. " Come on, let's give you a bath" walking farther down the corridor she reaches a door on her right. Opening the door that just appeared she leading the furry creature towards the large tub filled with bubbles. Going to the tap she grabs the shower head and rinses water over the dog, washing the grime and filth away from the fur that clung there for years.

Grabbing a towel off a shelf near the tub she quickly dried the creature before walking over to a small couch on the other side of the room next to a roaring fireplace. This room truly was whatever you needed most at the time. The now clean fluffy dog comes and carefully lays his head on the girls lap.

She carefully takes her hand and begins to pet it's head. Feeing the fur between her fingers she feels the different energy coming from the 'creature'. 

"You know, I don't think he did it."  She says stroking the animals head lightly.

The dog cocks it's head to peer at the girl."Sirius Black. I know he didn't kill my parents. But, Why would he kill his best friends, and then try to murder another. If he was trying to kill everyone he would have gone after Lupin first. He would be the harder one to take down. You know being a werewolf and all. " Looking at the wall she lightly peers at the dog with a grin on her lips.

The creature sat straight and stared at the girl." You know Sirius you've been causing some problems around here" She says smirking. The creature looks at her in wonder before cocking it's head. Almost as if to silently say ' how did you know it was me?'

"Shift Back." turning to look at the creature she smiles softly at the man that now sat before her. His dark hair was long and unkept but he appeared cleaner then he would have before the bath.

"How did you know who I was?" His gruff unused voice carried across the room filling the space. She smiles lightly before looking at her godfather in front of her. " Your energy was off. It wasn't like a normal animals..... Plus there aren't any dogs at Hogwarts. The closet thing we have to dogs are Gilbert. And let's just say Gilbert would know if there was a dog on school ground."

Sirius smiles and looks at his god daughter, " You're smart. Must have gotten that from Lily. Lord knows you didn't get it from James. Lily was the brightest witch and now I see her in you. So you know about Moony ay?"

Getting up she light wipes off her pants before beckoning him to follow her. With a grin she leads him out of the room the door disappearing behind them. " Come on Padfoot, I have a safe place fore you to stay and be out of trouble."

Uhh anyways. Long time no update. So I have completely lost interest in this story so I'm so sorry. I'm just going to leave it here I think. If you guys want I can like post a page of like what would end up being the final chapter of the book and what would have ended up for everyone. But let me know. Anyways idk if anyone will actually read this cause it's been like 2 years and this book sucks. So yeah anyways. Hope you're doing well. And I'll see ya on the flip side 👌🏼
