Dear Josh,
When I got home, my house was surrounded by men dressed in dark blue, and cars that shinned red and blue. I thought you would have liked the cars, because they were bright and shinny.
When I opened the door, mom was talking to two men dressed in blue. She asked me if I had seen the homeless boy that hid next-door.
I said, "what boy?"
Then they described you to me, like a picture. And I imagined you standing in front of me, smiling, and laughing.
They said you ran away from a foster house; a placed filled with little boys and girls, without mommy's or daddy's, to find a family. And I felt my heart twist and turn and pull, and try to gobble itself whole.
I said; "no such boy exist."
I'm so so sorry, Josh.
Sincerely,
Tyler.
