Shadow and the baby werehog

Chapter 4

Shadow stood in front of eggman with his usual look, he wasn't happy to see him here and he is not letting him hurt more people. He already has a plan on how to destroy the robot with ease but now he's not yet making his move, he's waiting for the right timing.

Shadow:*angry* Eggman.

Eggman: Well, looks like somebody is alone after what happened three months ago, I'm not surprised, though I must admit that you did put up such a sad and romantic act with sonic before he died, that was rather impressive. I can't believe you actually love sonic, but to bad that he's no longer here. He would've been a greater help with you now.

Shadow:*gets even more angry but still waits for the right timing to attack* Him dying has nothing to do with what I'm about to do to you egghead, so why don't you just fightme here and now!

Eggman: Alright, then I guess it's time to meet your doom!

And the robots started fighting shadow, while shadow is fighting the robots, sonic was running in the city trying to find shadow and save him in his big werehog form. He still couldn't find him, until he heard an explosion close to where he is. He doesn't know what caused it but he still went on and found shadow on the ground unconscious with robots still standing around him. They were about to pick up shadow until he sprinted to them and destroyed them before they could even touch him. After sonic destroyed the robots, he went back to shadow and see if he's okay. When found a pulse he sighed in relief and looked up to eggman.

Eggman: Well, looks like someone else has joined the party, a new friend of shadow's I see. Well, you seem rather creepy looking and strong too. I think it's best if I stay away from you, i'm not taking any chance from a freak like you.

And with that, eggman flew away with the rest of his robots. Sonic turned back to shadow, who is still laying down on the ground but starting to become conscious again. His ear twitched a little indicating that he's almost coming through, so sonic carefully picks him up and starts heading home with shadow in his arms. Shadow opened his eyes a little bit and tried to see who is carrying him, but he still couldn't see and eventually passes out of exhaustion from the fight.

When sonic made it to shadow's house, he places shadow on the bed of his bedroom, and goes to the bathroom to get a wet towel so he could clean him up from the fight with eggman. When he finished cleaning shadow up, Shadow suddenly woke up and saw him in his big werehog form. Shadow was shocked to see a big werehog in front of him and in his house, but when he took a closer look at him, he started to notice that he seems to look exactly like the baby werehog he found in the woods a few days ago.

Shadow: I-is that...you little guy?

Then sonic transformed back into a baby werehog and whimpered at shadow, begging him to not hurt him. Shadow looked at sonic with shock and then gave a sad look after a while, he went to him, picked him up and hugged him as he started to cry a little.

Shadow:*tears up a bit with gratitude* Thanks for saving me, you really are special. I'm glad to keep with me.

Sonic cried hard on shadow's shoulder, he didn't expect shadow to actually accept the fact that he can be really scary, he thought he would try to kill him if he finds that out, but that's only one part done for what he has to let shadow know. Now he needs to make shadow know that it's him and not just any ordinary werehog, it will be difficult to do so, but he has to find a way to do so.
