Sebastian sat on the bed frozen. A clock ticking within his head. It reached 9 in the morning when he awoke from his 'dream'. He gasped his eyes widening, his breath echoing through his mask. Someone knocked on the door, he ignored it, some more knocking followed.

"Come in!" Sebastian finally yelled.

Kate stood there, rather still.

"You gonna stop looking at me like that?" Sebastian stared back at her, she didn't blink once.

Her body fell to the wood floor as a man stood in the doorway, "Oooh Sebastian! Your dear friend had to go..."

"Barely met her," Sebastian shrugged.

"Aww your still cold hearted as usual, say did this all happen because of that?" Dio smiled maliciously.

"That? Is what exactly?" Sebastian asked.

"Well with the 8th~" Dio was interrupted half way.

"What? 8th?" He was actually confused which then Dio's smile turned into a puzzled smirk.

"Ooh that's right, time and all. Do you have a notepad of overwhelming power yet?" Dio was clearly bored.

"A notepad of power? What nonsense is this?" He asked bedazzled.

"NEVERMIND! WRONG TIME!" Dio ran out which Sebastian followed, Dio was no where to be seen.

"Weird, well I better get going before the authorities arrive," Sebastian shrugged off the events and continued to walk down the path. The air grew thick with fog out of nowhere.

"Here we go again!" Sebastian treaded through cautiously, sword ready. He continued down the path, or at least what he thought was the path. The path had disappeared due to the sudden immense fog. Each step felt like he was walking on creaking wood, something was close. Watching. The sound of a branch breaking from behind alerted him, he immediately turned tightly gripping the sword.

"Whatever you are, I assure you this will not end well for you," Sebastian threatened whatever was out there, it felt like it had no effect. He stood still, listening. His heart slowly beating, until suddenly it skipped a beat. At that moment he crouched spinning his leg around in a circle around him tripping something. The sound of a body falling down onto the gravel path indicated a perfect strike. Sebastian pounced onto the whimpering body his sword presumably near the area of where a human's neck would be.

"Speak," He commanded. The thing gulping fearful for it's life.

"YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THAT?!" A young voice yelled heartbroken that his plan had failed.

"No, I can't. I sensed you nearby though," Sebastian cockily replied.

"Eh well I lose, can you get that sword off me now?" The boy using his index finger pushing the blade away, Sebastian sheathing his sword getting up lending a hand to help. The boy clicked removing the fog giving Sebastian a view of the boy.

"A lot skinnier than I thought, weak as well," Sebastian held a hand under his chin examining the boy, "At least your good with your trickery, your not entirely hopeless,"

"I can hear you!" The boy clenched his fists leaning forward trying to look menacing.

"Good, you might learn a lesson or to by listening," Sebastian replied then walking a few steps forward, hands behind his back, "Say, you ever met a man named Dio?"
