I was walking slowly, I knew ill be late again. And so what? English was boring... I reach my room and surprisingly my teacher wasn't there yet. I seated on my chair in front of my teachers desk. Not because I like the subject or what but it was the sitting instructions... next beside me is my so called friends... by mean, we only hung out inside our room. "Hey, any idea about the test today?" she asked. I smiled at her like an idiot... "You realized what you just asked me right?" she shakes her head, not understanding what I said. Rose and I burst into laughter. "What makes it funny?" jessa asked... I look at to rose and laugh again. Then rose grab my entire notebook to show her. "She never writes anything... meaning she never study and only GOD knows how she can answer the question..." jessa raised her eyebrow. Then the teacher gets in. she then passed the questioner to everyone. Of course I also had mine. Im not that smart if you think... im just an average. Im just good in listening yah'no... when I finished I stayed at my seat and let few of my classmates to submit first. Then jessa turns to my side with look like HOW WAS IT? I smiled at her and I stand to submit mine. Before I could turn my back miss jean said "report to my office after class..." I nod and back to my sit. After English we had history and of course math. Then lunch... Jessa and rose waited outside. I grab my bag and went out... "So... How was it?" Rose asked. "I shrug my shoulder as an answer. Then jessa speaks... "Did you even answer the test?" I raised my eyebrow and start walking them following me... I turn my back and said. "We'll see after tomorrow..." "Owh... so you coming with us for lunch?" rose asked.... "Maybe next time... miss jean wants me in her office and yah'no Miss Karren usually brings me lunch...so... next time?" I said... "Owh... so see you after lunch...." Jessa said. "Yeah... and good luck with miss jean, she seems a bet angry earlier..." "It's nothing to do with me anyways..." I assure them. We separate ways; I grab my phone and quickly send a message to Miss Karren.

Me: ill drop by to miss jeans office first

Miss Karren: any problem?

Miss Karren was my adviser. Who helped me with a lot of things? Especially in school. Like projects, and talking to my teachers about taking some notes. And if I get into trouble...

Me: no.... nothing, but I don't know though... J

Reassuring her... I don't remember getting into trouble these days... So maybe its about taking notes.

Miss Karren: okay... just come straight to my office after then J

I have reached Miss Jeans office I silently knock at her door.... One of the teacher opens it "what can I do for you?" the teacher asked... "Im looking for miss Salvador?" I answer politely. "Ohhhh... get in..." I get in and saw miss jean checking some papers... "Owh... take a seat Quinn..." she said. " I didn't expect you to come," she continued. "I didn't do anything, I guess." "Yeah... I need a word to you regarding to your behaviour in my class...." "I don't start trouble in your class." I said. "It's not that Quinn..." "Then what is it? 'Coz I don't get it." I asked... "Look... you're not taking notes. And I don't know you even listen to my discussion." "Sorry miss jean..." "Quinn... you can't just bring Miss Karren into this situation... you knew that I also gave grades to your notes." "Im not bringing her into this... I don't take notes because I don't fell it. And I guess I'm not failing into your subjects... aren't I? "She was looking on the papers... then she sighs... "You can now leave Quinn..." "Is that all miss jean?" I asked... "Yes..." I quickly stand up from my seat and said my goodbyes to her. Then I went to Miss Karren's office for tlunch. After lunch she grabs my bag and check if I had taken any notes for this morning's lesson... "Again Quinn?" she said "we only had test this morning." I answer... she then grab her phone and went outside... I stayed in her sofa. Trying to take a nap... My head pounding like soon to explode... so I close my eyes and counting from 0—50... "I had talk to Miss Salvador." "What did she say?" "Nothing... she was surprise on your scores..." I smiled "owh... I must have pass the test." I said... time pass and soon I had my next class. P.E. I hate the most. We only do runs and stretching... I run into the shower to freshen up. Then I hear some of my classmates are coming too. I hop in and start the shower. I heard some girls where talking 'bout me. "Oh... Yeah Quinn. I heard Miss Salvador gets a hold of her by lunch..." the girl said. "So what does Miss Salvador ask?" the other girl asks. "Maybe she was asked for help. We know Quinn was so flexible and can do many things..." says the girl "don't you know that Quinn was been called because she's cheating on jessa's paper?" I know that voice. Hilary. Great, let's see what she has to say then "come on Hilary... wee all know that's not true." "Ohh... Then explain how she answers her test without studying? We all know she don't take notes and she don't listen to discussion..." Hilary said. I had enough. I grab my towel and get out of the shower. Then they all stop talking. "Yah'no what..." I look up to Hilary. She was taller than me though. "If you had nothing to say any good then better shut that big mouth of yours... Its stink..." some girls laugh. What Hilary did surprise me after? She grabs me on my hair and throws me to the corner. My towels drop luckily I had worn undies and a sports bra... "Fuck..." I said. "You can't talk to me like that... you bitch." She said. Then slapped me...some girls gasp then I hear foot prints coming. Hilary was on top on me, and I guess I had my nose bleeding... rose help me up while Hilary was been held by other. Then the principal spoke... "What's going on in here." She looks at me then said." get dress and go to the clinic.... Hilary come straight to my office." After getting dressed. I quickly grab my phone and send Miss Karren a short msg. "have to go to the clinic." And that's all. The nurse was cleaning the bruised when miss Karren burst in. "WHAT HAPPEN" she literally screamed at the nurse. "Ahhhhh... Hilary...." "Again? What did she do this time...?" "She's accusing me cheats this morning tests." "And?" "And? I got out on the shower then ii told her to shut her mouth if she has nothing to say any good. And grab my hair." "You didn't do anything then?" she asked "no.... I was thrown in the corner and she punches me in my face." "Owh GOD... How you feeling?" what? Are you seriously asked me how I feel? "Bad I guess" I said and look down. The nurse came after a minute. "The principal had phoned me and she wants you in her office." The nurse said. "Is she good to leave now?" Karren asked. "Yeah I gave her some pills and she is fine by then." I jump out to bed and fix my uniform then grab my bag. "You'll be fine. Right?" Karren asked. Shed been so protective o me... I don't know but it feels so right... "Yeah..." "Text me when your done... ill drop you home" "okay...." After talking with the principal... I texted Karen, she said o wait on her car... so I did... the ride home was silent then we reach my house. I open my door then she said. "Quinn... you know you can talk to me right?" she asked I look at her then smile. If given a chance to choice who you want to have as your mother. Then maybe ill have to choose her. "Like... anything...." "I do know miss..." she smiled at me... "Tell me what's on with that little head f yours." "Nothing misses. I just don't understand why Hilary hates me this much." I said. "Don't mind her. Okay?" I nod. "anything you wanna tell me?" I shake my head and smile at her. "I better go Miss karren.... Thanks for the ride..." I said and hug her like my life depends to her.
