"I'm so happy to see you." Mike wrapped his arms around his wife, the second that Carrie got to him. "I've missed you so much." He added, placing multiple kisses on her cheek. "Care, I am so so sorry, for everything." Mike apologized, Carrie hugging him tightly.

"It's okay. It's okay. Stop apologizing." Carrie replied, sighing on his shoulder. "I've missed you too." The blonde confessed, kissing his neck as she continued hugging him.

"Come on, let's go home." Mike smiled gently, taking one of her suitcases from her hand, holding her other.

Mike and Carrie made their way out of the airport, hand and hand. Of course, the couple still needed to talk about a lot of things; although, they were extremely happy with each other. Carrie knew that Mike was sorry; she knew that he loved her and that he regretted what happened with the woman.

"Thank you." Carrie smiled softly, once Mike helped get her things into her car.

"You're welcome." Mike replied, opening the passenger door. "Wait, wait," he stopped her. "I've missed you a lot." He said, softly kissing her lips her leaning her back against the truck.

"Mike, I've missed you too but I'm not ready for this, not yet." Carrie pulled away from the kiss, Mike nodding, disappointed.

"I'm sorry." He apologized, her shaking her head in response.

"Stop apologizing. Mike, I forgiven you. Please, I'm okay." Carrie placed both hands on his face, kissing his cheek before getting inside the truck. Mike wanted to believe his wife when she said she was okay but how could he? It's only been a little over a month. How could she have gotten over something so horrible so fast?

"Care, I want to believe you when you say that but I'm not sure if I can." Mike said, looking over at her seriously, holding her hand once he'd started the car.

"Mike, I don't want to press charges or anything." Carrie quietly said, knowing that she would upset her husband. "He has kids Mike. He was drunk,-"

"He tied you to our bed. Carrie how can you not want to press charges?"

"Mike I don't think he'd ever purposely hurt me or anyone else. He was just drunk. I don't want to send him to jail because his kids need a father. Mike, his kids need him in their lives and who am I to take him away from them?" She tried explaining herself, only Mike didn't need an explanation, he didn't want one.

"Someone who was raped and is entitled to get justice, that's who you are." Mike replied, shaking his head. Carrie and Mike didn't speak the rest of the way home. He wanted her to want to put him in prison, she deserved that. She wanted Mike to try and see what she did that his children didn't deserve to be punished, no matter what Brad did.
