Your Love

Your Love is what has surrounded me for years.
You were there when I threw my toys and tugged your hair, with bows and pigtails that naturally shouldn't be there.
Your warmth and belly rubs are what kept me asleep at night, and chased the nightmares away.
Now I can't breathe and I pray, you stay with me. Sitting and waiting.
Lord please, I pray, keep him safe, heal him, make him whole again.
I have to sit, and wait. As everyone else sits and sales and have different things going on.
My chest feels heavy and weighted, and I think I forgot how to breathe. To exhale and inhale.
Your love is what makes me need you.
This is fraud that I want you to make it. I want you here to finish what is starting, so that you can tell me right from wrong.
When you never met the one light that can keep me stable.
Please keep your love here with me.
