The Hero (PJO/Flash/Wolfblood Crossover)

New School

Nothing happened for a few days so I'm just going to skip to my first day at C.C.H. or Central City High.

It all started normal enough, I got up, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth and hair and put on a light pink blouse, jeans, a blue jean jacket and black boots. Now since I can drive I took my new car that my dad bought me to try to cheer me up since I was really sad that I couldn't talk to my friends or Chris ever. It was a red convertible and since it was a nice warm day I put the top down and drove to school and when I arrived I put the top up and parked in the student parking lot. Everyone was already in the building on their way to class. I went to the office where they gave me my schedule and directed me to my first class. Now a thing I should mention, I don't think of myself as pretty. I have long, auburn curls and silvery blue eyes, and I have skin somewhere between normal and tan and I had zero freckles and I'm pretty thin. And I find myself as average in beauty. But that's not what you would think if you saw the way the people in my class acted. So I was outside my class and I stopped. I was really nervous, but I took a deep breath and walked in. What I saw were a bunch of kids my age talking and messing around, and throwing wadded up paper while the teacher tried to quiet them. Eventually he got them quiet and I was still standing in the door frame. The teacher saw me.

" Hello, you must be Alyssa Santiago the new student." he said, I nodded. As he was greeting me the kids turned their heads and their eyes widened when they set eyes on me. The boys in the back were talking between themselves. Being wolfblood I could hear what they were saying clearly.

" Wow. She's really hot." I heard one say,

" Like you've got any chance with her Zak, I bet she'll be all over me by the end of the month," said another,

" Lay off her Luke. Let's see what she's like,"

" Yeah. right. So you can swoop in and steal her, I don't think so dude,"

" Umm, yes, I am." I said, I was really uncomfortable with all the staring so I looked back at the teacher. He was middle aged I'd guess and he had gray hair and green eyes.

" Welcome to Algebra 2. I'm Mr. Rodriguez, if you could sit in the back by Max," he said, I had to fight back tears and force a smile so I wouldn't embarrass myself. Unfortunately the Max guy was one of the guys who was talking with his friends. During class one of the guys tried to make a move on me,

" Hey baby,-" I cut him off,

" Not interested." I said,

" Well what do you like in a guy?"

" It doesn't matter, soon I'll be able to talk to my friends, and my boyfriend." I said, after that the guys were silent, but Max kept catching glimpses of me. At the end of class he came up to me,

" Are you okay? you seemed down back in class." he said,

" It's nothing. Hey do you know where I'm supposed to go next?"

" Home room." he said,

" Okay so I need to go to Mr. Jeffries class in room 238. you don't know where that is do you?" I asked,

" I go there home room too. you can come with me," he said,

" O.K." I said, I was beginning to feel sad, this guy was so much like my Chris only he looked different and I could sense he didn't nearly get as good grades. I just began to notice people looking at me as I passed, am I really that pretty? I wondered, the rest of the day went by smoothly. No trouble at all. yet...

Two years later, I was on the roof of star labs looking out at the ocean, I always loved the water, one time Chris and I went for a walk on the beach back home Starling city, we could see the stars and it was the best date we ever had. Another time we wolfed out on the beach during the full moon and we played in the water and on the beach. Anyway I was standing there looking at the ocean when I heard someone come up behind me. I didn't pay it any attention I was playing with my locket in my hand and I knew there was someone behind me but I ignored it. Below me I could see Joe and Iris talking. Then I felt a shove and fell off the side. I screamed Joe saw me and called Barry but it was too late I hit the pavement and blacked out.
