Chapter 4 - The New World but Old Secrets

Ron's POV

I couldn't help but coo at the tiny child in my wife's arms. I couldn't help feeling like I was missing something important, though. Currently, I couldn't tell or even care enough to figure it out. The child opened his wide green eyes at me and smiled. Angel began to whisper sweet words to him. I ached to hold my son but decided to let Angel enjoy his company a little longer. She had just gone through 5 hours of labor. From what I could tell as well it had been VERY painful (I passed out in the first three minutes).

Angelina's POV

I looked down at the supposed child Ron and I had created and felt slightly saddened Harry didn't look more like his 'father'. I couldn't help but adore the child even if he didn't look like Ron. I felt a sudden pang of guilt as I remembered why Harry didn't look like Ron. A few days after our marriage I had met Tom Riddle he had awed me with how attractive he was. He took away my virginity in the next hour then left. After realizing what I had just done, I had gone to Ron and had sex with him as well. I hoped that it would make Tom's touch fade away and cover up the fact I hated cheated on my new husband. Yet lay here was living proof of my only mistake. This was not my husband's child this was Tom's. I still couldn't help but love the child, though. I could also tell that Ron suspected nothing and I definitely was never going to tell him the truth. The truth truly was that I was a murderous cheat. I murdered George and Hermione to get closer to Ron so nothing would hold him back from loving me. Yet Tom had caught me off guard and made me a cheat. Yet this was the real truth I would always make sure I will be the only one who knows it. To the rest of the world, I will be a loving wife and a normal innocent girl.
