Negan's Runner

Chapter 7

I stand in front of a bruised Arot. She looks at me and shoots daggers at me. I wink and she shoots a bird.

"Hey babe looks can't kill so nice try." Rick looks at me and shakes his head. Arot goes and put a hand on her gun. I laugh and stand next to Dwight. I hear a throat clear and Negan stands in front of me with Simon.

"So your the bitch that gave Arot a blue face." 

"And your the prick that herded my friend to their death?" I say. Simon doesn't say anything he looks at me and shakes his head. He looks at Negan as though he is waiting for him to retaliate.

"She'll get the job done. She is a hell raiser." Simon says.

"I'm right here assholes." Negan chuckles and smiles. I can feel my heart flutter. I shake my head and look back to Simon. 

"I know sweet cheeks but I like to see you get pissed." I shake my head and strap my shit down to my bike. 

"Looks like we pissed the princess off." Simon says. I turn and flick him off. I hear him laugh and I can't help but wanting to put his face through the glass of the nearest car.

I yank my hair into a ponytail, and sling my jacket on and slide my aviators on. I sling my leg over my bike and look at Dwight.

"Let's make this day our bitch D?" He laughs and I slide my glasses down and wink at him.

"Let's roll out." I'm surprised when Negan mounts a bike. I look at Dwight and stick my tongue out making him shake his head. I laugh and Negan looks at me.

"Something funny doll." I look at Negan and give him the finger. I follow Dwight out the gate and pass him making him shake his head and speed up. I watch as our convoy heads towards a deserted highway. I maneuver through empty cars and walkers reaching out towards me. I grab my bat and splatter the brains of a few. 

"Up ahead guys. Ezekiel will be waiting with his load." Arot looks at me and I wink. She scowls and watches as Simon gets out of the truck.

"Negan." I hear a man say. I look up and gasp. I ignore everyone and run up and hug Morgan.

"Holy shit kid I thought you died. The last time I seen you was when you were surrounded by walkers." He looks away.

"It's ok. I would have left to. I got back before everything." I trail off and look away. Morgan opens his mouth but the elder man steps forward with a smile on his face.

"Old friends reuniting this is a marvelous day. Richard load the hogs onto the truck with Simon and Arot." The man looks at me and smiles again.

"Ezekiel. I am super fucking happy this round. So happy in fact i'll let you keep one of the hogs. As a reward. See Charlie this is what happens when you please me. I reward obedience."

"The only reward I need is your head on a pike." I see Simon come at me and he almost makes it, but Negan raises a hand.

"I like that attitude. You don't scare easy." Ezekiel and his men look uneasy. Morgan moves closer to me and I smile.I put an arm around his shoulders and hug him.

"He killed Glenn and Abraham. He also took Daryl." I whisper into his ear. He looks at me with wide eyes.

"I know where Carol is." I nod and let him move away from me.

"Well thats it. Have a good day boys." Richard looks tense, but doesn't move. I shake my head and look at Richard.

"Let's go Charlie." Dwight walks up and puts and arm around me and steers me away. I make it back to my bike and look back at Ezekiel and Morgan.

"He thinks he's a king." I hear one of the saviors laugh and I can't help but smile.

"What got a crush on the king?" Simon says. 

"Nah got my eye on someone else." I say. I look at Dwight and wink.

"Cute you have a thing for scarface." Simon says. I look at Dwight and he looks away ashamed of  his face. I walk over and grab his face and bring his lips down to mine. The kiss is soft and full of meaning. I pull away and smile.

"I'd pick a scarface over an over pompus prick who thinks he's the shit because he gets to be the tyrants right hand man. You are a piece of shit and I know the things you've done on Hilltop." I say. He looks at me frightened. 

"You bitch." He comes over and smacks me across the face. I hear someone gasp and the next thing I know he is thrown off me.

"What the fuck do you think you are fucking doing?!" Negan yells.

"She threatened me and I had to put her in her place." Simon lies and I shake my head.

"Don't fucking lie to me Simon. I'm not fucking stupid! We don't touch women or children!" He looks at everyone.

"Why is she different?" I hear Simon hiss.

"She's not, but I enjoy someone who isn't fucking scared of me and following me because of fear. You don't say shit because of Lucille. She has the threat of Lucille and yet still calls me out and trys to look bad."I shake my head and mount my bike. I rev the engine and take off. I hear a bike on my trail, but I don't look back.
