Kaye's POV

Ah! Senior year! A year full of parties, competitions, boys, and fun! I bet me and the gang will have a memorable year. Which who I'm with by the way, Bel, Cheska and Alexis. It's only the four of us here in the hallway where our lockers are assigned since Ashley is evidently not here yet.

Where is that girl anyway? It's almost time for the assembly and her punctuality is not exactly working for the first day of senior year. Especially when she'll be the president of the school, again and with the fact that she has to be here.

"Hey! How's summer break girls?" Says the very popular of a super self-absorbed Cassie Parker who literally just bumped right infront of us in the middle of nowhere with her twin brats Haley and Annie.

"It's quite amazing really, eveything an appropriate girl would want to do was ours to have it done." Bel snapped.

"Oh yes. How about you, little twats?" Alexis talking sarcastically.

"Alex." I said looking at her.

"Oh? Looks like someone woke up at the wrong side of the bed this morning." Haley said. Followed by her erotic twin's laugh.

"Too bad it's even the first day of senior year."

"Back off girls. Nobody wants to make a scene here at this time of day." I suddenly snapped.

These girls really do get into my nerves along with the others. What more to Ashley? Ugh, if only she was here. Not a single word will be able to come out of their mouth.

Ashley is actually loved by most people. She's been the president for like forever since kindergarden. She has an amazingly not-so-girly personality that let her get along well with people. She's a remarkable dancer where she can dance ballet, robotics, moonwalk or whatever is it that has to deal with moving incredibly. She plays the piano which is the best thing that she's good at. She's an artist, guitarist, drummer, and oh! She's always the first and the top one in our school. Who happens to be the soon-to-be valedictorian of Eastwood High. She gets high scores and perfect scores in almost everything at anything everytime. Yeah, and she's the most wonderful girl you'll ever meet.

So after with that petty fight in the hallway, the twats left our sight. Thank God.

"How come Ashley's not here yet?" Cheska asked us after talking with her lab partner last year, Jake. But we all know that it's more than that kind of a partner.

"No idea." Alex said.

"She's not obviously answering my calls right now. Ugh, what's up with her." Bel said staring at her phone.

"It's Ashley guys, what'd you expect?" I chuckled.

She never had a boyfriend though or any love related cheesy-ish in her life. She's like -The Girl with a Heart of Stone- kind of girl and can make her look like she doesn't care what'll happen or what are the possibilities. She's a whatever will be, will be kind of a girl.

Enough with Ashley! The bell just rang and that little Miss MIA is still MIA. Seriously Ash?

Bel's POV

The assembly is about to start. And as you can see, students are in a crowd and they're like new species who's amazed of being in an actual zoo.

"Settle down ladies and gentleman." I said with my calm voice at a very crowded situation and about to get pissed.

Some students took their seats while some just ignored with the fact that I actually said something.
