Ashley's POV

The bell already rang, it's the last period and I have to still talk to Nathaniel because of that title thingy.

I've been kinda blocked out lately since lunch so he better act up nice or I swear I'll be raging in with him too. He better not get all cocky with me because I'm not like those girls who can tolerate those.

My phone suddenly rang and saw Dad's calling.

"Hey dad." I said picking up the call.

"Where are you Ashley?" He said.

It sounds serious and it's like he's impatient for my answer.

"Ashley? Ashley." He said again.

"I'm at school. Why?" I curiously.

"Go home straight away we have something to talk about. Love you." He said hanging up the phone right away. He didn't even bother on waiting for my reply.

What the hell.

I've got to see Nate. Where is that guy. I'm in no mood to be in a position like this. Why do I have to look for his whereabouts. I swear to God the moment I find that reckless gu--

"Hey."

Someone suddenly said from behind. I looked right away who it is as I turned around.

Just who I was looking for. Good for him to show up in no time.

I didn't answer I just nodded and walked to the benches near the parking lot, he followed.

Huh, guess we can understand each other.

"This gotta be quick I'm needed at home." I said sitting at the bench not looking at him.

"Me too." He said.

"Do you have any idea now?"

"Probably. You?" I asked back.

"Maybe." He replied.

Now this is a conversation.

Really.

"Connection that's right infront of you." I said stating my idea. This has already gone too long with the fact that I'm needed now.

"How about this." He said.

I waited for his answer but he was still quiet.

God. I have to go if he won't say it then fine I'll leave him be.

So I looked at him, his attention straight forward with his elbows on top of the bench. Looks like he doesn't have a say on this with a matter of fact that he's needed too.

Huh.

"Are you going to say it or not?" I snapped.

What is wrong with this guy.

"A Connection to See." He said looking at my eyes.

I locked eye contact with him. His eyes are-- beautiful. It's so blue like the depth of an ocean. It felt like I can go in that ocean and swim all the way-- alone. Not letting anyone in with me. He looked adorable, I didn't notice that until now. His eyebrows are so perfect and his expression is like a little boy asking for a candy or something.

Looking at his eyes reminded me that he's like me. The way we act, the way our eyes express, and the way we react on certain things.

What? No.

You don't know who he is and you'll never know Ashley. No.

Cut it.

I don't like this. I'm in no position to notice him. I didn't the whole day, I never all these years and I won't now.
