Ashley's POV

Second day of school. We'll already have lessons in our classes. I wonder who's my classmates year.

Last year was a blast, every class was full of fun and jokes almost everyday. Almost all of them failed because of that.

It's a good thing even at those times, even with silliness, I can still maintain my grades-- and the best part? I never did change because of anything. It's like I can control anything for myself.

So I wake up with the call of my alarm clock a.k.a mom screaming at the top of her lungs downstairs. I laughed to myself getting up of the bed and fixing my sheets. I looked at my hideous morning face in the mirror and thought that I should be a guy in the first place.

Yeah, I never wanted to be a girl.

I took a hot bath and fixed myself. As always my hair was put down I didn't even bother of wanting to comb it. I wore my plain black t-shirt with a light blue and gray hoodie, gray jeans, and a pair of gray janoski shoes with a black check. I got my backpack and I'm all set.

So I already went downstairs to eat breakfast with mom.

"Morning mum." I said hugging her.

She didn't answer. Looks like someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning.

"Do you have any idea what time it is you got home last night?" Mom said.

Angry.

"I do. I'm sorry but it's not that late." I replied-- scared.

"And oh! A boy namingly Ian knocked on my door just said you left your car in the house of whoever's party it is last night! So he thought he'd come  bring it here. Which I'm not amused obviously. How'd you got home? Walked? Crawled?" She said, really getting angry at this point.

"Forget about that. Atleast I got home right?" I smirked.

"Ashley Catrina Scott James I'm serious here. I've got no time for your jokes. Were you drunk?! Who got you home huh?!" She's really that angry huh.

"Nathaniel." I replied without any reaction.

"A guy? Wow. A young lady being brought home by a guy! What if something happened to you?! Do you have any idea what might happen to you at times like that?!" She shouted.

"Ew." I replied.

"Amazing." Mom said with a sigh.

Seeing my face with no reaction at all at the matter.

"What's the big deal anyway mom, it was a dare and I wasn't drunk. I can't even take a sip! I can't smoke, I'll cough to death! And what else? I won't let any guy get to me or do to me-- with body guards or with nothing." I said putting my arms around her smirking.

Mom sighed.

Relieved? No.

Maybe a -what is wrong with you- kind of sigh.

"Okay? I'll be going now, can I have my keys?" I said.

"Later. I'll drive you to school young lady. You better make sure that won't happen again. Or I swear I will kill you." My mom seemingly glared at me.

I laughed while she was walking away. I stared at her She just kept walking and got ready to drive me to school.

Great I think I'll be late now since I have to still wait for her.

After five minutes she was done.

Wow.

That was fast.
