Normal P.O.V

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio followed the Kiriko navigator guy to the exam ahead through Zaban city. They reached a plaza and the three applicants gasped.

"It's Huge!"

"So, this is where all the hunter applicants take the exam?"

"It's a place worthy of being the exam hall."

The three of them looked upon the tall glass building in awe.

"Oi! What're you doing? That's not the building." The navigator said, pointing to another building.

"Eh?" They let their eyes follow the finger 'till it landed on the building in question.

A ramen stand.

"Ｈ-hey! This can't be the area for the exam!" Leorio spat.

"But it is. Follow me." The Kiriko walked into the building, the others trailing behind, reluctant for some.

"Welcome! What can I get you?" The cook asked.

"I'd like to use the back room."

"What would you like to eat in the room?"

"A steak combo that opened your eyes to the light... For three." Kiriko smirked

"How would you like them?" The Chef's eyes suddenly became sharp.

The red orbs of the Kiriko gleamed with the same sharpness.

"Grilled over a low flame, until cooked."

"Got it. Let yourself into the back room."

Once the trio had entered the back room, the navigator left and the room started to move down.

"Ah! What's going on?!" Leorio asked, clutching the arm of a chair to balance.

"Calm down, Leorio. It's just an elevator to take us to the exam." Kurapika sighed, sitting down.

Meanwhile, Gon was anxiously waiting for the steak combo he was promised. The navigator said he would get them so it had to be true. Gon now had a new motive.

'I will become a hunter and find my dad! Also, I will gain that steak combo!'

Suddenly, the elevator doors opened and there stood many people; the other applicants. A guy with a green face came and gave them plates 403,404,405. The atmosphere then changed to one of intense staring and analysis.

"Why so tense everyone?" Gon asked, out of curiosity.

They all turned and glared daggers at him and Gon tilted his head as if a question mark flew out of it.

"Gon, you may want to keep quiet." Kurapika glared at the other applicants, sweat trickling down his face.

"He's right you know." A voice said. The trio turned and saw a fat man sitting atop a pillar.
