"Derek," You started, wanting to ask him something.
"Yeah?"
"You like jazz?" He was taken aback at the question, not knowing how to respond.
"Y/N, I thought you knew me well enough . . ." He started to walk away, and you were suddenly scared that he was actually offended.
"Der . . ." You followed after him. "Look, somebody once told me the world was gunna roll me, that I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. I'm looking pretty dumb right now, so please answer my question."
He stopped, sighed and turned around, shaking his head.
"Of course I like jazz, Y/N. Because I'm an All-Star."
