It had started as a normal day in Beacon Hills when Kira had gotten to school. After finding her friends, they suddenly got quiet as a new girl went down the hall. Kira looked at her, noticing how beautiful the new student was.
"Wow," Kira whispered. "Who is that?"
"Nobody knows," Malia replied. "She just got here today.
"I'm talking to her." Kira said, walking away from her friends and towards the new girl. This was unlike Kira; Usually she stayed in the background, but something took over her and she wanted to know more.
She approached the new girl and tapped her on the shoulder while she was stacking books into her locker. The girl turned around and gave Kira a smile.
"Hello, I'm Kira. You're new, right?" Kira tried to flash her best smile, trying to ignore the nerves that were now building as she realized the situation she put herself in.
"Yeah, I'm Y/N." The girl said, sticking her hand out for Kira to shake. Kira stood there for a few moments, paralyzed before grabbing Y/N's hand and shaking it. "I think this school might actually not suck now that I have a friend."
"Yeah," Kira blushed a little. "I can introduce you to a lot of cool people here."
"That would be great," Y/N smiled.
"Just follow me." Kira led Y/N over to her friends, and couldn't keep the smile off her face. This new girl would surely make Beacon Hills a better place for Kira.
