Derek when you make a good point
...
Being a new member of the pack, you wanted to be liked. But one thing was for sure: Derek hated you.
Every time you would make a suggestion or even speak he would scoff or shoot you down. You didn't know what he had against you, but it bothered you. I mean, the alpha didn't like you.
So one day when the pack was talking about what to do on a life or death mission and you suggested something, it was to your surprise that Derek agreed with you.
"She's got a point," Derek said, shaking his head a little. At first, you thought he was joking. Then you realized it was Derek and he doesn't joke around. He was actually supporting your idea for once.
After the meeting was over, you asked to talk to him.
"Are you okay?" You asked, a little confused.
"I'm fine, why?" Derek asked, frowning.
"Well, you actually agreed with my idea this time."
"Maybe I thought I should be nicer and that your ideas are actually really great." He raised an eyebrow.
"Okay . . . well, I appreciate it."
"If you have good ideas I have to agree with it." Derek shrugged. "You're actually becoming valuable to us now."
"Thanks . . .?" You questioned, picking up your bag. "Well I have to go, so I'll see you later."
Once the door was shut behind you, Derek was cursing himself for not being nicer to you.
