Sorry for the late update :( I've had terrible writer's block .. I know where I want this story to go , but I don't want to rush into everything too quickly . xx

--------------------------------------

Bailey's POV

I'm stronger, so much stronger mentally and physically.

I can feel my senses becoming more alert.

My body isn't as soar anymore either.

As I mustered up the strength to move my fingers a few days ago for Harry, he has been happier. I can tell by his tone of voice that he is smiling more often.

I can't wait until I can wake up and see him. It seems as if it has been years since I've seen and carried on a conversation with him. I just want to be curled up in his arms again.

Soon, hopefully, I will be.

Harry keeps me updated on what is going on around me.

They still haven't told the girls about my accident. Instead, they keep making excuses as to why I can't hang out with them.

My parents have not given up on the search party. Harry told me that they assured everyone they won't stop until they find me. If only they knew that I was happy and safe with Harry.

There has been no words or actions from the Darks since my escape. Harry says that they have given up, but something in the pit of my stomach tells me otherwise. My uneasiness fuels my stamina and drive to protect the ones I love and myself. I won't let them hurt anyone without fighting until my own death.

Claire's POV

Sitting down in the nearest open table at the coffee shop, I sip at the boiling hot beverage. With no sign of my partner, I observe everyone in the cafe to pass the time.

A high school couple is seated to my right, smiling widely at each other.

A young man sits towards the back of the shop on his computer, alone.

I then see a mother struggling to maintain a toddler, a baby, and her tray of four coffees.

Stifling a laugh, I look away as she drops the tray and the coffee spills all over the store.

Idiotic humans.

Many workers rush to assist her.

Through all the ruckus everyone's hearts start beating faster, creating a thirst I can't control.

I feel my eyes start to change and my fangs start to penetrate at my gums.

"I'm going on break for a while," I hear a man's voice say.

I snap my head towards the young man and watch as he takes a back exit.

Leaving my coffee at the table, I push my way through everyone and exit the building using the main entrance.

I quickly walk towards the back of the building, my heels clicking on the cold pavement.

Leaning up against a large garbage can, is the young man smoking a cigarette.

His eyes snap towards my direction as he senses my presence.

"Can I help you?" he asks. His voice is deep and scratchy, an effect from smoking too much I presume.

"You know, smoking is bad for you," I say sweetly, twirling a section of my hair around my index finger.

"Does it look like a give a fuck?" he laughs rudely.
