I was frozen with fear. The only sound being heard was my heavy breathing. The temperature had decreased immensely for I could see my breath now. I heard the tall stranger's footsteps getting closer to me. I could hear him breathing heavily as well. As he got close enough, he reached his hand out and grabbed my arm. His hands were freezing. His grip was tight, but not to the point where it hurt.
"Come with me," he ordered in a deep, raspy voice. I finally found the courage and looked up to see the stranger's face. The moon illuminating every feature. The feature that stuck out the most was his piercing green eyes. They were the kind that you could get lost in. They were truly mesmerizing. His eyes were the bright color of an emerald. I always had a soft spot for gorgeous eyes, and these eyes were definitely a weakness now. I was snapped out of my thoughts by another voice.
"She isn't going anywhere," the man that smelled strongly of smoke said with an evil smirk. Every word he said, every look he gave me, every move he made, made me scared. I knew he was dangerous.
"Yes, she is," the tall stranger shot back with anger. He squeezed my arm tighter and I winced in pain.
"Y-you're hurting me," I wispered trying to hold back the tears. He instantly let go of my arm. I knew he was strong by the way he looked, but I had no idea he was this strong.
"See," the frighteneing man began with a smirk, "You are already hurting this lovely creature. What makes you think when you two are alone you will be able to control yourself? Hm?"
"I won't hurt her. I know I won't," he spoke through clenched teeth. They both must be crazy if they think I'm going anywhere with either of them.
"You will hurt her, Harry. It's in your blood. You're made to kill," the dangerous man smiled evilly. My heart stopped. My thoughts have been confirmed. I'm going to die. This so called Harry man, will kill me. I looked up at Harry with fear running through my body. He locked eyes with me, and everything bad seemed to go away. I shook my head and tore my eyes away from his beautiful gaze.
"I can control myself around her! I won't hurt her like you did with Cathy!" Harry screamed. I was terrified. Just a couple seconds ago he was calm. Now, he was acting like a monster.
"Don't you dare bring Cathy up! You know I didn't do it on purpose! It's my nature, and it is yours too!" The dark stranger yelled again. I frightened with him before, but my fear towards him had just sky-rocketed. I buried my head into Harry's chest as instinct to get as far away from the horrible man as I could. Harry brought his arms around me and rubbed small circles on my back. I would usually be crying, but I am too scared.
Within seconds though, I was torn away from Harry's safe embrace and into a hard chest. I knew exactly who it was. The smoke seemed to smell stronger than ever.
"Leave her alone, Tony!" Harry bellowed.
"No! You will end up hurting her anyway, so why don't I do the job for you? Yeah?" Tony threatened. I started squirming around. Throwing my arms and legs around to try and get free, but he was too strong.
"Harry!" I cried. "Please help me!" I don't know why I asked him to help me. He was scary too, but there was something about him that made me feel...safe. As if on command Tony's arms released me. I turned around and saw Harry on top of him. Punch after punch. I couldn't sit here and watch this. I had to do something. Even though I hated Tony and was petrified of him, I couldn't stand here and watch him be beaten to death. I ran over towards them.
"Harry!" I yelled hitting at his back. No response. "Harry! Stop! You're going to kill him!" I yelled louder. I could tell Tony had already went unconcious. "Please, Harry! Stop! Please! You're scaring me!" I cried. He stopped immediatley and looked at me. His eyes were black, but quickly turned back into his gorgeous green color. He stood up and walked towards me. I backed away not breaking our eye contact. He quickly grabbed my hand before I could get away. I struggled to get out of his grip. From what I just saw, I knew Harry was capable of almost anything. I was strong, but compared to Harry I was nothing.
"Come on," he said while walking away from Tony's beat up body. I didn't move though.
"No," I said trying to act tough but with my fear I probably sounded like a mouse.
Harry shook his head and looked down at the grass below our feet. "Please come with me. It isn't safe out here," he pleaded.
"Oh and I'm safe with you?" I asked suddenly gaining courage to stand up to him.
"Yes," he answered simply. With one swift movement I was being carried bridal style.
"Harry! Put me down!" I ordered.
"No,"he stated with a smirk. I groaned. I wanted to smack that smirk off his face so bad, but I was afraid of how he would react.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked in defeat.
"My house," he replied almost instantly.
Great.
