"I have never been this jealous my entire married life, Miks." Sabi ko kay Mika habang inoon ang ilaw sa kwarto namin. And then,

"Uwaaaa! Uwaaa! Uwaaaaaa! Mama!"

"Hahahahaha! Loko ka ha." Sagot naman niya as she got up from our bed.

We went to the other room to tend to the crying baby of Lau and Von, who by now is enjoying the waves of Hawaii for their "second honeymoon", leaving with Mika and I their 4 year old baby boy named Van Laurence. I never thought that having a baby in the house is this tiring. I mean having 2 younger siblings, I thought I have been through "parenting" of sort, but I guess Mama and Papa has been so hands on back then that I only got through the tip of taking care of my siblings when I was younger. But I will never regret the decision Mika and I made a week ago.

"Bro, can I ask you a huge favor?" Von asked as we were entering the shower room after working out at the gym of our Alma Mater.

As most of the people know, Von and I are best friends and we go way back highschool, years before he had Lau and I had Miks. So asking one another favors are not a big of a deal for both of us.

"Sure, bro, what is it? "

"Well, uhm, I'd like to take Lau for a vacation. "

"That's great, you both need it and I'm sure Van would be happy. "

" That's where you come in, bro, I would like to take Lau for a second honeymoon. You know since having Van almost 5 years ago, Lau and I had not spent a day or two for ourselves without wanting to go home early to look after Van. I asked my parent, but they are also going out of the country, same goes with Lau's parents. "

I know where this talk would end up so I asked,

"How long?"

"You sure, bro? I mean maybe, you and Mika has plans or something. "

"Well, it's not basketball season yet, nor volleyball's; I did not plan anything ahead of time, so far, Mika has no plans either. Well, except that we were to visit Iloilo next weekend. Maybe, you'll be home by that time?"

"Uhm, bro, ano kasi. I planned for a 3 week vacation for Lau. Her schedule won't be hectic for a month only and then she goes back to being workaholic again for the entire year. "

"3 weeks bro?!"

"Yeah, sana bro. I plan to bring her to Hawaii and the US sana. Visit some of the places we haven't been for a long time. "

"Can I answer tomorrow, bro? I need to discuss pa with Miks. Pero I am sure she would love the idea, but I am not so sure with her workload for now. We can actually take a leave, and alam mo na, practice na din. "
