Whenever jason or damian are about to kill someone they each hear an angel voice and a devil voice. The angel voice in both their minds is none other than dick's not bruce. It had been dick who guided them. All bruce did was give them a spiel about a line that shouldn't be crossed. Dick gave no lecture. Dick gave lessons. Lessons so great that his voice no remained ingrained in their minds.
For jason his devil voice is the joker. The crazy clown always goads him on. Tells him that if he knocks out the competition it would hurt him in the long run.
Damian's devil voice is his grandfather. The ideals that he was raised upon constantly warring with the one his father had now set. Constantly at war within his mind.
